Blendmount for Emira

I tried to pull off the cover, to wire tap but luck too chicken to pull hard.

If someone figures out how to remove the cover please let me know
When I get my car in a month if my usb doesn’t work will have a full write up. Do you have V1 2.0? Wonder why escort and others work? I use this cable in my EV Etron GT no issues & others with V1 but not in Emira since mine has not arrived. https://www.stickerfab.com/products...ne-uniden-radar-detector-power-cord-universal

So strange, just powered my V1 2.0 and did the most resent update while plugged into usb without any issue. Do you have the one that works with 12V? Plus look for any that says Note: This USB RJ11 Radar Detector Cable is not suitable for Valentine One radar detector. Good luck. What blend mount model number. Try this one:

I took a look at it today to try an pop the covers off but was hesitant to pull too hard so still no radar

BMG-2024 works with Escort Maxcam360c
Does the Escort get enough juice from the USB jack or is it hardwired to a 12v source? Possible to get a couple more pics of the instill from different angles? How happy are you with the Escort Maxcam 360c? I've always been a Valentine 1 user but having one unit to provide dashcam and radar detection has a lot of appeal. Many thanks for your insights!

Just tried it and the USB by the rear view mirror did not have enough juice to power Maxcam360c

Mirror Tap is not needed. Cleaner install All we need since the mirror plastic housing on the windshield has a USB connector for video and radar setup, it's on the passenger side. Amazon: Radar-Detector Cable, USB to RJ11 Plug Cable, for Escort Radenso XP Uniden Beltronics Cobra Whistler, V1, Radar Detector, Replacement Power Cable for Radar.

Do you have the direct link to this because all of the one I’ve found is 3.3 ft long.

Luckily, I had an extra Mirror Mount and USB to RJ11 cable for my Gen2 Valentine V1 radar detector. The Mirror Mount is a tight fit and doesn't allow much rear-view mirror adjustment, but I was able to make it work with my seating position. My USB to RJ11 cable is 12'' long and works well. I zip-tied the little bit of extra cable to the mirror mount to help hide the wire as much as possible. I will post some photos later today. Links below to the products I used.

I bought this Blendmount model for the Emira in June and it is working fine: BR7-2024.

I use it with the Uniden R8. There is a bit of vibration noise coming from that area. However, after some investigation, I have figured out that the noise is coming from the R8 itself, possibly from the buttons.

My Uniden on my M3 rattles too. Kind of horribly annoying. Put so much effort into having a super clean fitment with the belndmount, and then the unit itself rattles like hell. Anyone know a good fix for this? Or, maybe just another model that doesn't rattle?
