Brake pad swap DIY ( track pads )

Thanks for the video. The design of the retention pin is way more annoying than the Brembo's was on my Cayman. I tried my own homegrown solution to hammer it in there before finally resorting to your video and your pliers+drill bit worked like a charm. I even had to buy a smaller ball peen hammer to have enough room in the rear. Dumb!
 
It's a pretty common brembo method, exactly the same as on my Evo9 same for Subaru STi Brembos and likely most of the other factory calipers out there. Not saying there aren't better options, but it's far from a lotus unique issue/design
