It seems the demand for Emira’s has slowed down. There are many new cars in dealer inventory and allocations are available with no trouble.

In the US, is MSRP still market, or are we starting to see discounts off MSRP? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks all!

Which MSRP: original FE or FE with price increase? Regardless, I would expect that you could get an orphaned Emira somewhere between these two. The best way to find out is to start talking to dealers. Let us know what you learn.

I’ve had a dealer offer me about 2k off for sitting on the lot cars, not sure if I should push for more. Before Covid, I would always aim for 500 over invoice but after Covid, deals with dealerships are more difficult

I found my 2024FE in the US and they were asking 98K which is below the new sticker of 107K but above the original sticker of 97K.
The car had 1500 miles on it and they gave me a very good price for my Evora
I have seen a few on Autotrader in the mid 90s, but not very many.
I do see a lot of automatics coming in and for sale so I’m not sure what those prices will hold

OK, I purchased my Emira and learned a lot about the market conditions.

Most dealers are still trying to hold on the glory days of Covid and pushing hard for MSRP. I was successful in finding a local dealer who would give $1500.00 off an inbound car, and of course Lotus of Jacksonville was advertising $2500.00 off their cars, many of which were sold.

Spoke with Lotus of Dallas today and they said no to an offer of $103k on a $108k MSRP in stock car. Could have likely purchased their car for around $105k or a $3k discount.

Here’s where I landed. A local dealer had a pre owned 2024 FE with a $109,150.00 MSRP. Car is essentially brand new and has around $5,000 worth of PPF and ceramic coating applied. Called the detail shop and they transferred the PPF warranty into my name. Dealership was asking $97k for the car. I offered $92k and they accepted immediately, claiming they traded the car for $87k.

So, $17,150.00 off the original window sticker plus the PPF and ceramic at N/C. If I built the same car now, with options and latest pricing it would be a $114k sticker price.

Pickup is this Saturday. I am feeling pretty good about where this landed.

Congrats! What's the mileage and spec if I may ask?

Mileage was 1,000. Spec was Seneca Blue sport with full black pack, black forged wheels, yellow calipers and interior has leather steering wheel and black/alcantara with yellow stitching. Car also has privacy glass, Michelin Cup 2 tires and the factory battery tender is in the trunk. Took the car for a 45-minute test drive. She’s right, runs perfect and looks, feels and smells brand new. Car was delivered in June-24, so plenty of factory warranty remaining.

Here are a few pics from test drive day. Will post more once the car is home and properly detailed.
