Custom Wheels getting made - Flush with fender or not?

Hi, I'm getting custom wheels made for my Emira by Rohana wheels. They are asking If I want to make them flush with the fender or keep them the same as stock.?
I mentioned to them before that I wanted the exact same specs as the stock wheels so it would not affect the driving experience in any shape or form but supposably making them flush with the fenders would not be an issue. my questions are:
1) Is it worth modifying the specs from the stock wheels? will it look THAT Much better flushed with the fender?
2) will it change how the car drives and handles?
3) will it rub on the fender, either when driving over potholes, speed bumps or just turning the wheels at sharp angles while parking?
I'm attaching a pic of the wheels I'm getting for reference.

1) It will probably not look that different in isolation. But park a car with fender flush wheels next to stock, and the fender flush wheels look “better” in my opinion. No experience with Emira, but based on my experience with aftermarket wheels on my Mustang, and before/after photos of Emiras with fender flush wheels, it looks better.

2) Once again, I have no experience with this in the Emira, but my guess is it will make virtually no noticeable difference in day-to-day street driving. My rationale? You have to have a pretty massive change in tire pressure to really notice a difference in ride and handling around town. The little differences in geometry having fender flush wheels makes probably isn’t a whole lot. Assuming the wheels and tires are the same width as stock, you’re increasing the track. A lot of people put spacers on their Emiras with the stock wheels with reportedly negligible changes in day-to-day driving feel.

3) No idea about rubbing. Best bet might be to PM Emira owners on the forum that have used stock wheels with spacers from GRP or other vendors and ask about their experiences with this.

That's the thing, until he mentioned having the wheels flushed, I never even noticed it as an issue. I don't think the way it is stock looks bad at all. maybe I should get wheels made just like specs just in case and add spacers if I want to flush them, this way if it rubs or doesn't drive right, I can just remove the spacers?
 
If you get them totally stock you might find it difficult to find hub centric spacers that bring them flush since the offsets are different.
 
When im ordering wheels I will order them wider (offset). I run now 12mm grp spacers… looks how it should be from factory. So next time i order wheels i include that 12mm on the wheel so that no spacers are required. Also for the rear I am thinking going 305 iso 295.

I forgot to mention that I have no intention of lowering the car so that would stay “stock”
I have read that back needs a bit more than the front to be flushed so what about if ordered the wheels to be 6mm front and 10mm back? Or would you suggest a better combination?

If you are not lowering, keep it flushed.
 
If you want it to look more flush you are better off doing 10mm front and 12mm back (13 even)..

Especially if you are NOT lowering the car.

I will at some point be doing the spacers (I don't want new wheels) and then possibly, possibly lowering it 1" to make the stance look more aggressive.

That's a bit of a ways away though, as first is 3rd cat delete, Valve controller, and a bunch of cosmetic things.
