Dashcam for the Emira

Well since I last posed, I am now looking at the A119 Mini 2.
Only very slightly bigger and has a screen, which I dont need, but may prove useful. And for the so small increase in size, most likely worth it.
Decision, Decsions
I run the mini 2 in the Emira and M2. Hasn't given me grief and has worked fine to pull footage of silly drivers on the road as well as a backup camera for capturing footage of driving on the racetrack.

I have the Viofo A229 Pro 4K which has worked with no problems so far.
You would think that that would use slightly more power than the VS1 so you will be ok.

If you do get the VS1 can you check if it is suitable for fixing to a vertical screen?
It looks like it should by the pictures on their website.
I was thinking about sticking it on the rear screen as a stand alone camera rather than having one attached to my front one.

I'm running a viofo vs1 up front, as I just wanted something small and unobtrusive, but with with good low light performance (and it was crazy cheap around Black Friday).
It is adjustable through a large range, so would work just fine as a rear facing cam.

I don't really care for having a screen, but the thing I do kinda miss is it doesn't support WiFi "station mode" like the viofo cams further up the range (which I use in our other car).
