Still no Emira back - sad times as it's been an epic few weeks of a heatwave and nice weather.

hope to have an update at the end of the week, it's being progressed, but not complete yet.

Feel for you. Terrible customer service from Lotus, I'm afraid . . . yet again. For all the talk, they still just don't seem to get the level of customer service expected at this price point. They need to seriously lift their game before Electre starts attracting luxury SUV owners to the brand.
 
Yup, aint no free lunches around here!
Surely they need give you money back as they were wrong . Especially as lotus glasgow ordered part in and it wasn't right . Who was 1st garage ?

It's been away for 7 weeks now. Autotrader has several things bookmarked now lol, but I really just want the Emira back. It's progressing though, was meant to be back for a big car show this weekend, unfortunately it's further delayed. Not really had the chance to use it at all in what is summer over here, so hoping for a positive 'rest of summer' after I get it back.

For clarity the 1st garage that looked at the problem was an independent lotus specialist, not a dealership, hence I had to pay. Lotus dealership couldn't look at it for 4 weeks so decided to get them to check it over (but not attempt any fix).

This has been a complete turn of events since your big publicity push with last November factory delivery. Sad affair.
It seems safe to say Lotus won't be preparing a follow-up feature.
So many chances to make things right in a spectacular way, restoring customer faith and advocacy.

BIG UPDATE COMING....

The car has been away for 2 months, and broken for a month on the run up to that. I've not used it in over 12 weeks. Here's hoping my next post is good.

So the Emira will finally be back with me on Tuesday next week (it's been fully fixed, and some other things that I'll go into once back).

fingers are crossed all is better than it's ever been.

I've got it back. It's been away for so long, at the dealers, at Hethel, and a lot of work has been done on it. ECU, rewiring, latest software updates, all recalls carried out - even a new gear stick and a few other interior and exterior trim parts replaced. QC picked up more things, so has obviously improved since I originally got the car. I got the car delivered back, I've used it a couple of times, drives incredible, looks incredible, love it.

Confidence now needs to be built with the car again. But, right now, I'm happy.
