Emira Owner
I’ve had my Emira for about 3 months now and I love it.

I haven’t owned a manual in 12 years so I no longer have my old driving shoes.
I’m not an expert in heel-toe but I’m trying to get better. I’m not planning on tracking the car.

I’ve been mostly wearing some leather sneakers but I don’t love them because the sole is studded.

What is your preferred shoe with the Emira?

Any opinions about the following types of shoes:
- indoor soccer shoes
- boxing or wrestling shoes
- “barefoot” shoes (Xero, Vivo)
- Piloti driving shoes
- Puma speedcats or other Pumas

I wear "Onitsuka Tiger/MEXICO 66 DRIVING".
The soles are thin, but they are hard, so I can feel the pedals properly.
The shape of the shoe is also "slim", which is suitable for the pedal placement of the EMIRA.

Any recommendations for a shoe that can be worn with business casual attire? They would have to be brown or black leather with a thin rubber sole. All I have come across are the "Senna" loafer styles, which I am not really into. I drive the Emira to the office occasionally and have been lugging around a separate pair of shoes.

I love my piloti shoes of various kinds. They have several leather options.

I got these shoes cause they look really good and I can wear to work. The blue suede is super nice.

Thanks for the recommendation. There are a couple of styles I think may work.

I spotted these on Amazon and took a gamble as they were really cheap.

I got them today and I think they are decent, just been out for a 30 minutes test with them on (any excuse to drive the Emira) and they work well.

Sole is quite thin, have a round heel, hug your feet well having a narrow sole, also the sole wraps round the ball of your foot if you want some heel and toe action.

They seem fairly well made. They are pretty comfortable although I would not want to go for a long walk in them (little insole support and no ankle support). They have elastic laces so you may have to do some readjustments to get them just right.

My size 10s are just a wee bit big, they seem to come up on the larger size - so if you are between sizes go for the smaller one.

I have no affiliation with the makers and also have only worn them today - so no idea what their longevity is like.

Edit: They were £20 when I bought mine - now £38 - so not so cheap any more.
