how does your plan work? do you have pictures of lifting position? I'm comparing between 6000elk and 7000tlx. I was thinking about placing 6000 slightly angled so I can reach the 4 lifting points without a cross beam. please help meEnded up ordering through Pelican Parts. Don't use them at an angle like that. The QJ lifts up and backwards at the same time, so you want the rails parallel to each other. I have the 5000tlx and I set the rear rubber puck at the rear lifting location, and the front where it meets the frame rail of the car. The car's frame at the front in that area is double reinforced. The QJ comes with 2 sets of pucks; a short and tall. Use the tall set.how does your plan work? do you have pictures of lifting position? I'm comparing between 6000elk and 7000tlx. I used the crossbeam adapter, which is also why I needed the extra step of the low profile ramps.how does your plan work? do you have pictures of lifting position? Still don’t get it. Did you put the QJ angled? Front points are located inside of the front wheels. The QJ 6000 is 86” long. I guess it will hit the front tires when you align it parallel. Did you lift front end first to make the space for the QJ?I used the crossbeam adapter, which is also why I needed the extra step of the low profile ramps.

In that way, stable enough??When I took the car off the lift I realized the crossbeam would have worked better in the back with no need for toe in. It would mean the lift would be closer together though.
This is specific to the 6000 ELX
You don't need to angle it. I did a little bit the first time but not the second. I have the 6000 ELX. I positioned the rear at the inside edge of the lift points and the crossbeam on the front. You could however spin it and lift with the fixed points on the front and the crossbeam extended wider than the quick jack for the rear points.Still don’t get it. Did you put the QJ angled? I bought the QJ5000TLX for use on all my cars including the Emira. I don’t have my Emira yet, but I read this fits without hitting the tires and to use the rear lift points as indicated and the front points in the picture which the factory uses for their robot movers. See picture……. (This is Silent Cilantro’s image btw). This is how I have lifted multiple cars. Just how I and many others have done it. Chime in if ya agree or disagree… all good.Still don’t get it.
