Emira art, take 3. Let's start by misquoting the late, great David Bowie...

Can't wait to see them all done and lined up.
Me too! I will be sharing some photos of Hethel, Seneca and Dark Verdant hung on the wall together - these are going away for hi-res scanning tomorrow...

I have started work on the spec selections, lighting and compositions for Nimbus, Shadow and Magma - looking forward to cracking on with those - I'll start a new thread on the next FE colour when it hits the easel and also a separate thread once we are ready to go to print, with sizes, pricing details, etc.

This is outstanding. Just amazing.

Also my wife has a degree in fine art (primary medium is oils), and she's super impressed with your work.
Thank you so much - that's really nice to know as compliments from other artists are highly-prized!

With a degree in fine art and working in oils she'll understand the challenges - and advantages - of creating these in acrylics.

Fabulous work
I'm definitely interested in a Senaca print - add me to the list.
Thank you, very kind - and will do.

I will @ all interested parties when I create the new thread with launch date and pricing. I will release the completed first 3 together, then each of the remaining 3 as they are ready.

Finish line in sight, just L O T U S and some window detailing to go.

It's faintly ridiculous how much getting rid of the last piece of blank canvas affects the rest for the better - there is stuff going on here even I don't understand!

Latest shot at the top, staged progress shots leading up to it below.

Absolutely incredible! Getting those diamond cut wheels just right had to be the hardest part, right? Along with the calipers and drilled rotors... So many details going on there. I'll never understand how someone can do this sort of thing with a paint brush.

...but then again I've stared up at Michelangelo's ceiling and wondered the same!

And now, for the 3rd time, we are done.

She has her badging and window detailing complete, so now she is complete.

Really happy with how the 3 of these look together, the colour value and saturation of the background in each one being similar. I will temporarily hang them tomorrow so you can see them all side by side.

After a delayed flight back from London last night that's two 1am finishes on the bounce, kinda glad we are heading off for a week in Corfu on Friday followed by four days in Athens for a wedding!

So nice of you to say so - and glad you like it! Each of the three so far has different aspects I like, I am aiming for a unified set but with each having its own unique appeal, aside from the colour.

Incredible, I’m in for this.
Thanks for that, the positive feedback gives me the energy to keep doing this on top of my day job! Will add you to the list and @ you when I publish info on release of prints.

We are soooo overdue to get back to NY - we had a trip planned there for a friend's son's wedding in 2020 that got cancelled due to covid, such a special place.

When you start doing specs prints I'm in for my DV. Lovely work.

Thank you, nice of you to say so - and glad you are a fellow DV fan! I'll add you to the list for when I get print license deal sorted out.

In the meantime, here is the DV original alongside two of my other works at the RAC's Art of Motoring exhibition, being studied by Mr Rowan Atkinson.
