18:50 Matt saying not got second shift running yet, primarily due to resourcing and training, so likely to be from start of 2023. 2022 output will be about 25% of what was originally planned. Can get to 7,000 with two shifts, but not sure can hit in 2023 or in 2024.

20:10 They've done a customer survey - anyone participated?

20:20 The reason for deliveries to EU before UK is due to Brexit and separate approvals - it sounds like they went for EU approval first and then UK approval after that.

21:05 Apparently 50% of UK customers have elected for Hethel collection, which is slowing the process.

Edit:
To expand on the Hethel collection point, it was Harry who suggested that would slow things down. Matt didn't directly respond to that but said they had a "mini industry" to set that up and it would be in place "very soon". Harry asked if dealer collection would speed up your delivery and Matt said not necessarily. He then admitted that Operations were building the cars they could build and not necessarily in the priority order provided by Sales.

I gather Lotus have got things in place now to handle the 50% of people collecting from Hethel.

22:30 Confirms can still order FEs in some geographies - is a limit per country and UK still has capacity. I believe this is linked to emissions regulations.

23:20 Still holding the price despite inflation and increased logistics costs.

24:35 They're running with move up times at 22 mins but trialling to get to 17 mins. I'd understood previously they'd been saying they were already working at 17 mins.

Harry said they had to do UK after EU - not sure why that would be... but makes sense now

It sounds like they decided to change approach and go for EU approval first then use that to feed in to the UK application. Not sure why they changed. When we were at the factory in January they were doing UK submission first.

25% going to receive cars this year ….. Mmmm

The i4 comment of December is misleading. Autumn 22 is not Dec. Looking forward to March/April for i4 👌
Only building 25% of what they expected in 2022, so only roughly 800 instead of 3,200.

So what has happened to the UK cars that are said to be ‘in build’? No mention of part completed cars?

Not good is it… this second shift not any time soon and looking at the numbers being reached it could take quite some time. Take a view on lead time on the basis of what’s being produced. Makes for easy but disappointing math

Windle looking sheepish, he could do with going on a presentation course or two.

What survey???
So they had planned EU delivery first all along....

Shameful,but understandable.
