Thanks for sharing that communication ! Dealer receiving my car has been radio silent. What is your VIN last four? I'm 4076 not sure if it will be in the first or second batch.

Dealer didn't confirm that my car would be in first batch as this email I believe went out to all i4 deposit holders, but in the past I've talked with them and they believed that mine would be one of the first to arrive. My VIN is 4065

Shipment batches are all over the place in volume, if Lotus manages to load up 100 cars our Emira's should be in the first shipment. Think the Turbo VINs start at 4000 your 65 and I'm 76 and Digdug in the middle.

Haven't seen anything yet...

I seriously doubt they will ship them in VIN order. They didn't with the V6 when they began releasing them. Great if they did; I'm 4006.

4-Cylinder AMG Lotus Emira Update - They're coming!!!

Dear Lotus Depositors:

I am thrilled to share the most recent update we've received from Lotus, which is that the i4 Emiras have been approved for transit!

These cars are expected to begin arriving at the US Port in early December. Once they are received in Baltimore, the cars will still need to go through Customs, be inspected, and then transported to Galpin.

We will relay individual updates to each of you as your cars progress from the UK to Galpin. As always, please don't hesitate to contact your Galpin Lotus Specialist with any questions. We look forward to getting these cars on the road as soon as possible!

Thank you for your continued patience, the wait is nearly over!
Shared with my dealer, they got the same news. Only caveat he added was that there was a still pending release of open sale date.

Yes, I am guessing this is related to me still not seeing CARB EU report approving this formally. I'm sure UK wants to get them off the dock, and US dealers are trying to hang onto as many i4 depositors as they can...... although I may be one that gives up the car once it finally makes it here. I just don't know if it's the future classic that I convinced myself it would be way back when I first saw it in 2021........ we shall see!!

I hope they do, ours have been sitting for months now. Would be common sense….. but hey … who knows. 🙄🥴

Anytime from now through March makes no difference at this point. I won't be driving it home in December/January up I-69.

Just got this msg from my dealer today. So close!!

"Your car should arrive at the end of December or beginning of January at the port.
It will take another couple of weeks before it gets here.
Our estimated time to get it here will be mid January at best."

My order is through Lotus of Charlotte, so closer to Baltimore, but no ETA from dealer other than 'probably soon'. My vin ends in 4209, so it's been built and is sitting somewhere in the UK.

Same, east coast (Palm Beach), 4365 - even got a screenshot from the dealer with VIN showing produced..

Interesting; so dealers do actually have insight into disposition of cars.

'At Port'
'On Water'
etc.
