I4 Delivery Date USA/Canada Updates

Vin # 4041
Being delivered to the house today, Outside temp in the single digits. Hoping for a 50F day Before March.🙏
Drove my back in 15 degree snow storm. Don’t necessarily recommend that…. But it did well. Just washed her off the next day.

I could not do that..NJ and Pa put to much salt down on our roads..
Much respect! I don't trust the drivers around me in winter weather in my neck of the woods. I'm most likely going to get mine trailered(enclosed) home. Hoping for late next week.

Just wash the car including the undercarriage and all is well
My car looked like it was mist white by the time I drove it from Pittsburgh to SC. Water, a hose and gentle bath is all it needed.
And btw, the turbo whistle and then the blow off…. Is incredible. Actually sounds like a small turbine spooling up.
It’s musical 🎶

I need to know more....... Does it exceed your expectations?

My car landed with the December 9 shipment, and still didn't arrive to my dealer (California, Bay Area)!
Anyone else experiencing similar frustrating delays?

Toonfan…. Does it exceed my expectations…?... Absolutely! It’s a blast to drive. The acceleration is better than I imagined. Even the sound of the engine and the turbo whistle adds to the experience while driving. I didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I do. I crack the driver window some to hear the turbo /blow off. Smiling every second….
The car in sport mode definitely perks up. I am getting closer the the 1000 mile break in and getting ready to have a little more fun. The paddle shift are fairly quick. I think the ecu update must have been done. I couldn’t see complaining about the shift speed now. Those complain about not feeling a click or enough of a click…. I actually like it this way better. It’s more subtle click than other paddle shifters but it feels solid and not flimsy either. I like it.
Definitely exceeded my expectations and worth the wait.

PERFECTO! That's what I'd hoped you would respond with. Paperwork should be sorted today and I'll either drive it home (weather permitting) or get it delivered by trailer(most likely) late next week after prep is complete. It will have to be a garage queen for a few months no matter what but at least it will be home.

Hey, watch the video by Ed Bolian about trailering/shipping your car. It opened my eyes about how thieves work in the shipping of high end cars. Just make sure you use a shipping company that the dealer has used or you have done your homework on. Many times your shipping order will be posted to the “boards”. This is where bad actors get involved. Just do your homework and watch that video.
Congrats on your car!

Thanks for the tip. I'm going to have Gator sort it. Checked the weather this morning and cold, snow and rain and in the forecast for all next week.

Only have heard great things about Gator 🐊. Props to dealers like him, Lotus of Pittsburgh, and Cape Fear Lotus. All I heard have been pro-customer and informative during this process.

Tony and Chandler have both been great. They sent me pics of the car at various stages since Monday to ease my childlike excitement.

Hang in there. Not surprising timing. Typically 1-3 weeks for prep at the port, then 1-2 weeks for transit, and likely add 1 week for the holidays. Just know Santa is coming late and you'll have a HAPPY New Year!!

I am figuring the same or longer. Mine arrived in port on 12/19, but needs to get all the way to Seattle. I figure best case it will be available around the end of January.

Just received text from Naples that Lotus will not deliver from port until next week....hopefully a bit of weather reprieve during that time.
