Mine was on 12/19 boat in Baltimore and at Philly dealer right now for me to come in and inspect and pickup next week after new Years DayAnyone heard from the dealer or taken delivery of an i4 that was on the 12/15 boat, or is it still to early for those to be available? Just wondering when I should be expecting a notification from my dealer in S. Florida.
Maybe I was bad boy this year and Santa's making me pay for it...!Hang in there. Not surprising timing. Typically 1-3 weeks for prep at the port, then 1-2 weeks for transit, and likely add 1 week for the holidays. Just know Santa is coming late and you'll have a HAPPY New Year!!
Mine was on the 12/15 boat, dealer said invoiced 24th, expected arrival within 10 business days (Southern California)
OK, so having to travel through 1/16 isn't really slowing down my pickup by too much time - I was seriously trying to come up with excuses to not travel for work the first few weeks of the new year.. crisis alleviated..Mine was on 12/19 boat in Baltimore and at Philly dealer right now for me to come in and inspect and pickup next week after new Years Day
In the V6 I honestly couldn’t tell much of a difference. In the I4 they say the touring is equivalent to the V6 sports so I went with the touring. I wouldn’t want any harsher than the touring for the road.Great to see all the i4 delivery's and congrats to all. Fingers crossed I'll be picking mine up next week. Question for those that have taken delivery, Touring or Sport suspension ? and your thoughts after clocking on a few miles.

I waited patiently over 3 years (!!), but the moment I saw @Nova post my VIN, all that patience flew right out the window!
Is blind spot monitoring included in i4?Did the paperwork yesterday and drove home my I4 today. Such a great car and in touring it’s still plenty powerful. Only things I would change is the basic infotainment system, the KEF, and blind spot monitoring. Besides that I’m very happy.
I went to see my Emira today at Philly Lotus and was told NO Blind Spot..Is blind spot monitoring included in i4?
I assume no satellite radio either?
lol. Kinda what I figured. I’m guessing the 2025 won’t either. I think I read somewhere a while back that the Chinese versions have it.I went to see my Emira today at Philly Lotus and was told NO Blind Spot..
Guess the extra 40 HP was our plus..
Did this last week in deciding which to go with when at dealer to evaluate primary V6 manual choice; was (!) diehard manual driver, as was wife, prior to comparison.Has anyone in the US had a chance to drive an auto v6 and an i4 back to back to give us their impressions?
Thanks for the feedback.Did this last week in deciding which to go with when at dealer to evaluate primary V6 manual choice; was (!) diehard manual driver, as was wife, prior to comparison.
Some differences noted:
1.Typical less smoothness of i4 motor idling and under acceleration-minimal
2.DCT shifting slightly slow on upshifts when in tour mode with leisure driving; quicker with aggressive acceleration and quicker yet in sport mode
3. Acceleration much snappier lower rpm for i4, but V6 catches up in higher rpm range and essentially same.
4. Exhaust pops/crackles more prominent with i4.
Was impressed with I4 acceleration, crisp shifts up and down under load; and......i4 DCT chosen, hopefully near future. Just my 2 cents...........although, still not 100% convinced
