The Japanese Facebook group ロータスオーナー会 will be hosting a track day at Fuji Speedway on Feb. 16 (sun). I spoke with the admin (a gentleman from the Nagoya area) yesterday and confirmed that the event is open to anyone with a Lotus - you do not need to be a member of the Facebook group to participate. Fee is 24,000 JPY, helmet and gloves are required.

Track runs are not mandatory - you can just show up for the photo-ops and mingle with other Lotus owners.

All Lotus cars will be allowed to participate in one lap at the beginning with no extra charge, given the driver (and passenger) attend the briefing at 12:00. No helmet or gloves required for this parade lap, but expect pictures to be taken and used for PR purposes.

1 slot remaining!!! Would love to join, however cannot commit at this point.. If schedule clears up, will register for the track day session, worst case will try to make it just for the photo shoot.

Entry has closed, and I have confirmed with the organizer that 4 Emiras are in the list. Even if you missed the window, please consider showing up for the parade run and mingling - should be fun !
