The car was delivered without any problems!

Driving impressions will be made after the break-in is over as I'm still breaking it in.
A few things that bothered me
The pedals are not straight and I cannot sit straight because of the right hand drive.
The seat is currently being adjusted to my satisfaction.
CarPlay requires a cable connection.
The initial braking at low speed is very strong, and it is difficult to control it delicately.

I have not ridden this kind of MT car for more than a year, so I felt I needed to get used to it.

無事納車されました!

走行インプレッションはまだ慣らし運転中なので終わってからにしたいと思います。
少し気になったこと
・右ハンドルのためか、ペダル配置的に真っすぐに座る事ができません。
・シートは現在納得できる様に調整中です。
・CarPlayはケーブル接続必須でした。
・低速時のブレーキの初期制動が強烈に強く、繊細なコントロールが難しいです。

1年以上この手のMT車に乗っていなかったので慣れが必要だと感じました。

Congrats !!! The Asuka plates make a nice contrast to Seneca Blue --- Looks great !
What are you doing to the seats? Something to improve grip?

おめでとうございます!大きな問題もなくヨカッタですね!図柄ナンバーもなかなか似合ってます!
シート加工?は何しているのでしょうか?

Right now I'm playing around with various adjustments to the power seat and steering wheel.
If that doesn't work, I'll consider cushions or something.
I think the pedal position might be more of an issue than the seat.

I stuffed the keys in the case.

Finally, Emira was delivered on 8/24!
It is the first MR, 6MT in my life!
As Forest san said, the initial braking at low speed is very strong and I also found it difficult to control delicately.
It is quite stressful when driving in traffic.
However, yesterday, I had to part with it for another week or so to have it ceramic coated.

I had to remove the wheels so I looked at each part and found rust on the top of the wheel bearings.
Both front and rear.
It looks like they are painted black, but you might want to be careful.

I'll give you my impressions after about 100km of driving.

I have chosen the sport suspension for my Emira, and I like it without any problems at all.
Even on rough road surfaces, there is no hardness that makes it push up, and it takes the initial input softly.
As for the brakes, the control at low speeds is nerve-wracking, but once you get to a certain speed range, the brakes feel good and work as hard as you step on them.

So far, I feel that the Emira is not good at low speeds such as in traffic jams.
The Emira's strength is in the speed range of winding roads.
This speed range is very enjoyable and comfortable.

Thanks for the update. Great to finally see reports from owners on the ground, and the Tanzan Shrine shot is just beautiful !

Why only on the top? Maybe water tends to stay on there and not run off? Does the rust look deep, or just on the surface? Maybe it's a Nara thing, as the color reminds me of a certain character... ;)

Rust is only on the surface.
The top is also rusted, so it is probably not just a problem of water accumulation.
The Elise had the same rusting phenomenon on the entire hub carrier, so it must be a pre-existing condition of the Lotus.

I plan to use rust converting paint.

Got mine today! The car is amazing!

I got it in sports suspension, it’s surprisingly not that harsh, overall driving experience is pretty good, very easy to drive , not as peaky and raw as evora.

And definitely attracts tons of attention, lol

Also, dealer told me that the PDI check is becoming bottleneck for delivery, as they can only process 2 cars per day. Despise over 100 emiras have arrived in Japan

Congrats! I'll keep my eyes peeled for this car on the streets. Once our cars are run in and we feel comfortable with them, let's go find some mountainous roads (and cities with Lotus service facilities).
Also, dealer told me that the PDI check is becoming bottleneck for delivery, as they can only process 2 cars per day. Despise over 100 emiras have arrived in Japan
Maybe we should be looking for part time jobs as PDI staff...

The only dealer option was to have ETC installed.
The left side was cut out?
Sure looks that way, but seems to be a nice clean install. Congrats !
Next mod: neon lights under the car ?

Congrats! First pic has silver wheels whereas second has black. Couldn't decide and got both??? :LOL:
