Japan Winding Road Drive: Ome -> Okutama -> Kofu - Sunday March 30

This is my proposal for a Sunday, March 30 Lotus Owner Participants drive.

Initial meet-up, rendevous point will be at the parking area of Lake Okutama, also known as the Ogouchi Dam lake. It is some drive to get there, so I wonder if the time to meet should be set to 09:30 or 10:00.

I honestly do not know how crowded it will be in this season. I was last there around November or early December.

Another concern will be the weather and possible snow.

There are two or three «Michi-no-Eki» along the roads where we can visit and enjoy snacks and drinks, and also a lunch.

This posting is first and foremost to gauge the interest in such a Lotus drive

If the weather is good; there is an amazing viewing spot of Mt. Fuji as we descend toward the Kofu area.

最初の集合場所は、奥多摩湖（別名小河内貯水池）の駐車場です。そこまで車で行くには少し距離があるので、集合時間は9:30か10:00に設定した方がいいと思います。

正直、この季節にどれくらい混雑するかわかりません。最後に行ったのは11月か12月初旬です。

もう1つの懸念は、天気と雪の可能性です。

道路沿いには「道の駅」が2、3か所あり、そこでは軽食や飲み物、ランチを楽しむことができます。

このロータスドライブに参加希望の方はいらっしゃいますか

天気が良ければ、甲府方面に下る途中に富士山の素晴らしい眺望スポットがあります。

Sounds like a plan ! We can meet up at 水根駐車場 which is near the east side of the reservoir. From there I think you are referring to the route west on R411 to 富士山の見える展望台 and then through 甲府市 (Kofu City). Looks like lots of turns and elevation changes.

Those who are joining from central Tokyo, I can meet you at 石川PA on the Chuo Expressway.
