@GRP for customers who have ordered your lowering kit, do you have any sense how much people are lowering their Emiras? 15mm? 20? And what proportion are adding wheel spacers?

I like the stance on the Eventuri Emira, which they told me was lowered (but didn't tell me how much), and they said they didn't use spacers:

I also like the stance on this one that I found on Reddit:

Any thoughts you have would be appreciated! I want to close the gap and make the stance more aggressive, but don't want to run into issues with scraping, etc..

Thanks,

You can do Greg’s lowering sleeves and 12mm spacers to get the look you want. I think 15-20mm is the max on the lowering sleeves. Any lower and the lock nut rubs against the axle boot in the rear. If you want to go lower you’ll have to go with a full coilover as those have more clearance to the axle boot.

The Eventuri Emira has rather sunken looking wheels when you see it on video(IMO). The Emira is fine at standard height with stock offset, but definitely looks better with some spacers, once lowered.

I’ve had the GRP lowering kit added and the lotus dealer maxed it to its lowest point. They also put on the 12 mm spacers.
I’ve had no problems with any scraping or wheel arch issues. The only problem I have now is tripping over on footpath faults when I park the car because I can’t get my eyes off it. It looks sensational!

The second photo is a render or photo from
Video game etc

Mine was lowered with the lowering kit at its lowest point I think , and only touch to the ground only going downhill to some parking

Also put the 12mm spacers

Love the look

Does lowering the car make the ride a little more harsh/stiffer?
GRP It feels pretty much the same as stock sports suspension. I have to concentrate hard to find differences in stiffness. Its def more planted on straights and less nose lift in quick accelerations.

If you get coilovers, you can adjust a knob to feel any way you want no matter how low. Only downside is that it's expensive for Emiras.
