New Emira Configurator!

This new configurator reminds me of things I used to do lol. I was even playing around with an orange recently, but this new configurator now officially looks the part for an upscale world manufacturer.

Man, if I had the money....

The night mode really makes the cars look great, although our website here tends to flatten out and darken images. Still, looks infinitely better than the original configurator did.

Where'd you find those Evija shots?? Those are somehow even more awesome than the "City (Night)" environment in the new configurator.

So does the FE Emira really come with all 5 lug bolts anti-theft as shown in the new configurator?

They're not anti-theft, rather the default splined lug bolt design used in the Evora / Exige etc. The configuration is misleading in this regard so this is a bug.

The Emira now has traditional hex lug bolts. Mine came with a security lock bolt per wheel from factory that needs a custom adapter to unlock. This could be market specific - best to ask your dealer.

Are they lug nuts or lug bolts?

I'm apparently getting a different configurator than you guys, I don't know why.

Oh, weird! So your online configurator gives you the "plaza" environment for the Evija, and the "street" environment for the Emira?

Bolts, actually. 17mm hex head.
You're quite right, my apologies. I assumed they were wheel nuts as I'd never taken them off. When purchasing the Emira, I asked the dealer whether Lotus supply wheel lock nuts and was never corrected.

No worries.

I was slightly annoyed they changed from the old 10-point spline bolts.

They were semi anti-theft in that an opportunistic wheel thief was unlikely to have an adaptor in their pocket.
Now we have to have the breakage-prone coded anti-theft things.

Progress, eh!

From which country or link do you access the new config? Currently on travel in US and Canada.. and all I see is the same old sheit
