I wonder what the percentile of Gilet wear and Emira ownership is... So far it's around 90-95%

Heheh I'm only pulling your chain mate. Congrats on your new toy! I've just locked in my configuration on Monday and gone for (nearly) the same as you, except I went Alcantara yellow stitch, yellow callipers and no privacy glass... bring on Spring 2024 (and then summer, then autumn, winter etc...)I really hadn't planned to come dressed like me dad I do like a Gilet though, nearlynspent my Lotus voucher on one in the shop
It must be some sort of lash adjustment, surely. It was variable on the Evora - some were quiet and others noisy. I've noticed it on a few Emiras but not lots. Disappointing that after 12 years of Evoras they haven't completely fixed it on the Emira and it still varies from car to car, but it seems to be much better.
I told everyone a year ago it had that after the first Top Gear video and most disagreed and said it was camera lighting! My new spot for the day is the strip of ambiance lighting on the dash.
not much else to report for driving as I'm snowed in

It’s not on when you are driving. It’s part of the cabin interior light system.

Yes just when the door is open or the interior lights are turned on. Didn't notice if the gear linkage illumination stays on when driving thoughWait, so it only comes on when the door is opened? What about all the other ambient lighting (footwell, cup holders, door handles, etc.)?
My GLI has ambient lighting and it's all user customizable down to color and brightness.

Question.....LOTUS allowed you to take delivery/collection wearing a pair of NEW BALANCE shoes/sneakers ??
Is that allowed in the UK ? no one at the factory tried to jump you and pull them off of your feet ?
Here in USA we would get tasered and arrested even attempting to drive a corvette in New Balance shoes.
With the New C8 Corvette you have to sign a wavier with the dealer swearing NOT to ever wear New Balance in or around the vicinity or even near a Corvette C8.
But..... Corvettes that are older than 1995 its mandatory to wear New balance,... but only if the owner/driver is older than 75yrs old .
