I am still a firm believer that there is no noise difference in Sport or Track mode.

I even made a video trying to capture this.

There maybe is even less burble on the overrun on Track, but in terms of volume or intensity I really cannot find any difference. Which also makes sense to me since the valve is open or not, there is no half-way open setting as far as I know.

@Magicman congrats by the way, super awesome spec!

I seem to remember that at the British car museum event they said track mode was a bit quieter than sport to take account of noise limits on most tracks these days

I'll see if I can capture it as I'm sure it's an audible difference on mine, also the display indicates and increase in exhaust noise when you select track in driver mode it goes from 2 to 3 bars on the display for exhaust

In just over 300mls I've had a handbrake warning light flash up twice (it's still working fine).

Reported it and had immediate response within minutes from both Lotus (Scott walker) and central lotus. Software update done today in about 20min so hopefully resolved.

In my Emira, I can hear a difference between sport and track mode when the car is idling. Once I drive though, they sound the same to me.

Yes far less noticeable when driving, I wonder of its any more discernable from outside 🤔

My Evora 410 Sport was the same. On that, track mode increased the idle by about 200 RPM, but once you were driving, the sound was the same in both Sport and Track. From memory (the car is now sold) the main difference was traction control was off in Track. I only ever tried it to test it, as I wanted to keep the car on the road and out of the ditches!

I agree here, the idle rpm goes up by 200rpm (ish), same as on older Lotus models from the last generation. But thats not really an exhaust noise change.

Added Ted security 😄

Still loving it!

Warmed up a bit today, handling is just amazing, as a fast road car this is easily as good as my 981 gt4. The way it keeps its composure when it's loaded up over mid corner bumps, compression and pot holes is just something else.

Clocking up miles ….. You anywhere near your magic number to give her full beans 🫘 yet

As we feared though that seat base is not wearing well, baggy after only 400mls 😕

I’m not a interior expert to say the least. I did have new seat covers installed on my Audi seats and they steamed the leather to tighten it. Not that we should have to do that with new car but it might be a solution. I’m sure someone knows more about it than me. Definitely disappointing to see so early.

Were you recently in the car? The heat from your body can do this as well. A bit of change/stretch is a hallmark of high quality soft leather. The only way to prevent it is to back the leather with thick canvas, which changes the feel dramatically.

Yes I'd just got out, Mrs Magic had also just had a go but I dare not blame her for a baggy arse print 😬😂
