Yes I'd just got out, Mrs Magic had also just had a go but I dare not blame her for a baggy arse print

On the contrary, it opens up so many opportunities for cheeky compliments about heat and the effect on your leather. SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES.Yes I'd just got out, Mrs Magic had also just had a go but I dare not blame her for a baggy arse print

Where did you get these? Look official. (sorry if it's been asked, long thread)Drove a stretch of one of my favourite roads today, its tight so not sure as running in is much of a restriction, it was raining and pretty wet and have to say the Goodyear seemed to give a good account of them selves.
Although in the dry mechanical grip is pretty Impressive, there are parts of the driving experience that reminds me a little of my old 997 GTS
My initial plan was at some point I'd change them for PS4S but might not need to.
In other news these arrived today to go on next week with the ppf

I am curious as well! Group buy?Where did you get these? Look official. (sorry if it's been asked, long thread)
Thanks. I'll have a look. What’s the original car, so I order the correct one.Theyre from Bell and Colville lotus
If you can post any pictures of the chipping, that would be appreciated. Thanks and that is not something to look forward to.Let's talk about the paint, specifically nimbus, the finish I can't fault and the colour I adore, but, if you're thinking of running one without ppf you'll be repainting it every year if not 6mths. It's incredibly soft. Mines in for ppf next week, knowing this I've been really careful, following cars at a good distance etc, I covered the front with a few layers of ceramic polish. Even so in the first 500 mls is picking up stone chips in the bonnet like nothing I've known before. In 6mths of uk driving I suspect the front of these cars will look a Real mess without ppf.
On a positive note the upper black pack roof etc, indeed all the gloss black, that I thought would mark and haze really easily is standing up well.
Absolutely true. I got by first huge stone chip on the bonnet on the drive home from picking up my car. Words can’t describe how annoyed I was, just my luck. Lotus still haven’t released paint formula or sell touch up paint. However my dealer kindly sorted me out with some water based paint and I bought some acrylic clear coat to go over for now.Let's talk about the paint, specifically nimbus, the finish I can't fault and the colour I adore, but, if you're thinking of running one without ppf you'll be repainting it every year if not 6mths. I've ordered some mixed to the reg number but it hasn't turned up annoyingly as I wanted to just touch them in before ppfAbsolutely true. I be surprised if they do sell it. I tried and paid for Chipex and they refunded me the money. They don’t have the paint formula. But some body shops can do it because they can scan the paint work and get the very nearest match, mixed for you.I've ordered some mixed to the reg number but it hasn't turned up annoyingly as I wanted to just touch them in before ppf

Sorry to see that. I don’t live in the UK and don’t know what the roads are like but man that sucks. Would hope that the clear coat would offer more protection than it is. Thanks for sharing and posting your experiences with the new car. Great spec by the way. They are really tiny but tried to get them here, it has literally not stopped raining in the 3 weeks I've had it

I'm sorry to read this and it has made my mind up - I'll invest in the ppf. It reminds me of my silver S2000 which I had resprayed 5-6 years ago. The new (water-based?) paint seemed to pick up small stone chips so easily - it really wound me up when I washed the front bumper, in particular.Let's talk about the paint, specifically nimbus, the finish I can't fault and the colour I adore, but, if you're thinking of running one without ppf you'll be repainting it every year if not 6mths. Another option is to just order Maclaren blade silver, they're not just close they're identical.I be surprised if they do sell it. I tried and paid for Chipex and they refunded me the money. How do you know this? From the color samples at the dealership?Another option is to just order Maclaren blade silver, they're not just close they're identical.
I work in printing (on metal) and I'd love to test the two colours on the xrite, pretty sure they'd pass manufacturer standards
