So the 1000 mile has passed and its just bloody brilliant. Car hasn't skipped a beat since a couple of electrical glitches early on that were rectified immediately.
I celebrated by joining the Notts SCD run out this morning, the weather was pretty shocking tbh but the grip is just fabulous, running with the likes of SF90, 720s, gt3rs etc and the emira was just ballistic on the wet lanes, AWD m3 touring in front of me never pulled away. I was in sport which does seem to allow a bit of movement but never once saw the traction light flicker. For UK roads use I really don't think it needs more power, there's probably more benefit in upgrading your driving skills than the car.
Noise is definitely increasing, those last few thousand revs are very much dominated by the supercharger but personally I like it. Still undecided in wether to mod the exhaust, it's clearly quite loud from the outside judging by how far away it can turn pedestrian heads if you open it up.

It certainly didn't look out of place either. Just an absolute bargain of a car.

(Ps the guy in the Vett is my absolute hero as it looked a right handful 😄)

Same here, the exhaust seems to sound a little bit more after 1800 kms done
Does anyone know what the software updates so far are - mine has done 1,800 miles now & just come back from having software update (never done so far, delivered in Dec) & I think the noise / burble in Sport is less than before.

Mines had two, one was ecu the other for the infotainment (some apparentlyfroze). Tbh I've noticed no difference from either of them

How long has it got to be run in for what have I got to to as I’ve never had a new car before ??
Details here:

...you'd think the engine could potentially be a bit of a weak spot for this car but not one bit of it. You get no sense of its humble origins and is easily as charismatic in its own way as my 981 gt4's lump.

So the Emira has an engine of humble origins like the humble origins of the Cayman's flat-four like a VW Beetle? =D

So, yesterday afternoon it started then cut out, started again fine and drove OK but the Amber engine management light came on. Turned it off, Left it an hour but still on so called central lotus 4pm, car booked in for 9am next morning with the offer of a courtesy car if need be.
However this morning it had reset. Took it over anyway and all it had recorded was a low voltage. Hopefully just a glitch.

Thought I recreate the pic from my demo drive with my own car

The early (2016-2018) Alfa Romeo Giulia's had similar issues with random lights and functions going off, then on again later, etc. In virtually every case it was due to weak batteries. Replacing the battery became the go-to fix, and saved weeks of being at the dealer because they couldn't figure out what was wrong due to its intermittent nature.

I suspect your right. My Ferrari would randomly chuck up (terrifying) lights as soon as the battery dropped charge. I've been using it daily and for some longer runs so its definitely not that.

Don't count on that. We thought the same thing but it turned out the batteries themselves had issues and weren't charging properly. It took months before we figured out to just replace the battery if you had random symptoms. The dealers didn't want to do it at first, because they'd put a tester on the battery and it showed a full charge, but when under load, the batteries had issues and weren't putting out the necessary power. This was the early production cars. The batteries sat too long on palettes before being used, and then they sat too long in cars on dealer lots who weren't trickle charging them properly.

Just my guess based on the symptoms Ask the dealer to try replacing the battery, and see if that fixes the issues.
