I just picked mine up yesterday from PPF. Went straight from dealer to PPF shop on a truck bed; there were bad swirl marks where PDI folks obviously try to clean up. PPF shop did paint correction prior to wrap (the black areas were the worst parts). Edit: to add I can not for life of me see where the relief cut was on the side vents, shop said it's small (not like the large triangle as seen on the forum), and they did remove the vents to get a neater tuck.
I'm 1000% glad I trucked the car to PPF shop instead of driving and had it done before driving home. On the way home car in front kicked up lots of little rocks
though unavoidable. Definitely saw many tiny impact to my front, but they wiped off and smoothed out with no issues tothe PPF
Question for some of the folks here: Did your PPF shop opt to take off the bumper to wrap?
I can't say I've see any shops that would want to take the risk of removing panels unnecessarily, but (long story short) someone is telling me "there's no way a PPF shop would do the bumper without removing it" (BS, I know).
