Started yesterday, was working fine before that. Now I have to manually release the parking brake everytime.

A gearbox software update sorts that problem out. Speaking from first hand experience. You also get a better change from N to R or 1

I have the latest updates as of Feb 11 and the P/N/1 and paddle response is fast. It was working fine until yesterday.

Check your settings…My car occasionally turns off the parking sensors and I have to go to settings to toggle them back on…

Did that. It was still on but I turned it off, stop the car, and then later re-start and turn it back on. Well I'm going in for a 1K oil change on the i4 and I'll have the dealer take care of it then. Thanks.

I have a manual V6, and the other day I stopped on a slight hill in traffic. THe parking brake engaged, and when I tried to drive, it did not disengage but stayed on and I stalled 2 or 3 times till I figured it out. I turned off the 'auto engage' feature.

I have it on auto in the V6, so far so good.

That's weird, because mine (man V6) only auto engages the parking brake when the engine is switched off, which is what the handbook says should happen. Hill start assist should keep the parking brake on until you pull away (or 2 secs elapses) but the parking brake light doesn't come on with hill start assist. Hill start assist cannot be switched off as far as I can see.
