I took my car to the shop for lots of little things. sharing here in case it helps anyone.
1. steering wheel clunk on full lock - normal, someone noted this is likely due to suspension geometry. I have sport.
2. brake squeal - normal race car sound, fine
3. squeal when reversing the car - normal, related to brake squeal after parking the car, ok
4. L and R windows not same height at full open - within spec. one is actually a touch low and the other a touch high
5. transmission noise rattle on throttle - normal
6. transmission play F/R - normal
7. TSB for suspension noise and rubber gasket - does not apply because there is no noise on my car. he said it's obvious if you have this problem
8. TPMS more sensitive on right side - normal, he thinks tires - I might agree
9. SOS light - normal, related to charge. kind of knew this already
10. front fan noise intermittent - didn't hear it, its intermittent so fine
All SW up to date.
Car has been rock solid and I just wanted to make sure nothing was off that could get worse later. Glad to have peace of mind and a free car wash.
Anecdotally he said that out of all the cars they sold, only one has had any real issue. And one of their customers is already at 8k miles. All other cars without incident. Also mentioned my short shifter and suggested that I be upfront with modifications in the future so we could work together on whether or not it matters for warranty claims. I was good with that.

Oil change at 5k and will change again at 10k. My car needs the rubber rain bib recall but they didn't have the parts when I brought it in for the oil change. Hoping Vic has them in stock when I get the next oil change. I have been caught in the rain a couple of times but no ill effects at this point. The car is a daily. It's a great daily. Can't imagine what I would replace it with. Other than the paint bubble on the front bumper and the trim piece that broke on the driver's seat (both repaired promptly under warranty) the car has been faultless. Have yet to see another in the wild except at the dealer or at a C&C (met Seriously at the San Clemente C&C). Have seen many Ferrari/Lambo/McLaren while driving the Lotus and only a silver Ferrari 458 has acknowledged my finger wave. It was probably because my Emira is osmium silver and he liked the color. Porsche's are like Corolla's in Newport Beach. Have yet to get a thumb's up from a Porsche driver although I did get a thumb's up from a Porsche driver's wife.
