Known problem with power steering in factory which they have been unable to resolve or find the cause of. Still shipped cars out despite this.
Really. Wow was hoping it was something pretty simple. Will be taking it back soon with a list. I really do wonder all that testing, what they been doing.

Wonza, other than the issues you’ve mentioned, are you liking the handling and suspension of the Emira when you take it on the highway or when making quick fast turns? Is it as responsive as you thought it would be?
Absolutely yes!!!!!The touring is superb. Sharp, subtle and not crashy even over potholes. I can’t fault that. As far as I remember it’s every bit as good as my old Boxster Spyder. I feel special in this thing, the sound from behind your ears. The low speed pick up from the super charger without having to rev the nuts off it and the ability to floor it in a 6th gear and will still shift.

I just hope my teething problems will be fixed asap so I can enjoy my new car for years to come.

Lotus need to up the quality so that newcomers like me will continue with the brand.

The guy that says he works in the Factory

Fake News !!

my brother who is friends with the Neigbor who lives next to the lady who walkes the dog for the people who are friends with the people who know workers who are related to the factory assembly workers who play cards on the weekends with the other workers who are in the Lotus Emira assembly line told my first cousin that this is FACT !!

The brakes should not be rubbing on the rotors enough to cause vibrations - if it does, it would be burning up the pads. Even a slight brake drag would heat the rotors/pads to the point of warping. You would be able to smell it after some time of driving as well. That said, people have noted heavily corroded rotors and disintegrating brake pads. I would get that checked out to see if your car is affected.

A slight vibration within a range of speeds can signify slightly unbalanced wheels/tires. It's not out of balance enough to cause heavy vibration, but enough to feel in a resonant range where its force is accentuated by the springiness of the tire.

Creaking is a pet peeve of mine. I can't stand it. Hope they fix all of these issues for you.
Sounds more like a wheel or tyre out of round from a pothole or a deformity in tyre tread from same. Wheel balancing more noticeable in 40 to 60 mph .

The vibration was rectified 6 months ago now. Mine was one of the first Emira’s manufactured and stood for quite a long while. Long story short, it turned out that one of the front tyres had a flat spot hence the vibration I felt in the steering. Swapped new Goodyears and it was perfect.
