On my 150 mile drive back home from dealer, I really noticed the vibrating of the rear view mirror when the engine was lugging (running under 2k RPMs ) mostly around 1500 rpm in 8th gear . I'm already thinking about shoving in a piece of urethane to provide additional pressure to help stabilize.

Anyone else notice this?

Let me know if you find a solve, I have a similar issue

The resolution should be the dealer fixing this, apologising profusely for not picking it up during the PDI and offering at least some recompense.

I asked my dealer to look into mine. They said it was within tolerance and sent me on my way. Definitely one of the issues that irks me the most as it makes seeing behind me difficult on the freeway.

Exactly, mirror is stable when engine in humming along and feels secure when you move it. It's just at low rpms the engine generates a vibration the shakes the mirror, needs another stabilization point. Sendmeows - are you a v6 or 4?
