You'll have to remove the heads just to replace the valves and valve springs. You could order a set of heads from Jubu or MWR that have been ported and have the performance valve train installed. Provided that your heads haven't been damaged, you can exchange them to avoid the core charge with both vendors. In either case, you'll need a tune to increase the rev limit beyond the factory 6800 RPM limit. I think it would be worth having the porting work done given the amount of disassembly and reassembly that is required with any of the alternatives but you could save some money by just having your mechanic rebuild the stock heads with the new valve train.Thank you for the info. My objective is to maintain it as my daily, tune up to 500BHP (not over) and push the RPMs to 7600-7800, as long as I'm replacing valves, is there any benefit to doing a more performance based head swap?
