Seeing how the car is put together in these intricate matrix lego kit layers is fascinating. Just posting some initial photos as Johnny from https://www.calibredcustoms.com/ works on the car. He's awesome, just comes out to your home to install whatever you want, has done all my cars since...a long time ago lol. Lotus didn't spend a single ounce in unnecessary sound proofing weight lol...remove a panel and you just see the body panels, and hollow cavities that are no doubt echoing tire/road noise. Audio wise installing Focal components in the front doors and using the stock empty tweeter location, removing the rear sub and rear mid drivers and adding a powered 8" JL Microsub. I'll soon be at around 105lbs taken out of the car so will see where how much the sound proofing and audio gear adds - but already being down 100lbs is great.

Cool project! What are you planning on powering those speakers? OEM or will you be fitting an amp?

Going to try the stock amp, I actually don't listen to loud volume just looking for clarity and the floor noise to get lower to actually hear something lol. We'll try this out and will add amp if needed - good experiment to see if 6 1/2" component system and a powered sub is enough. We'll see...they are 2ohm so at least efficient - should be done by Sunday we'll know immediately.

fyi the number "2700" is handwritten all over all the panels everywhere...with a QR code and "Federal"
