I find it odd that many cars now have key fobs that unlock the doors as you approach the vehicle, but a $100k Lotus does not! Can this be upgraded somehow?

I thought I was missing something and then read the manual and saw no mention of it. Very odd choice. Wonder if there's any reason behind it or just oversight like you know getting cars CARB certifiedI find it odd that many cars now have key fobs that unlock the doors as you approach the vehicle, but a $100k Lotus does not! Idk why but it’s not only Lotus who does this, the Huracan is exactly the same which is more odd as the R8 does have full keyless (with the sensors on the door handles), I’m certain there is reasoning for it just because of the H/R8 difference but I don’t know what it is.I find it odd that many cars now have key fobs that unlock the doors as you approach the vehicle, but a $100k Lotus does not! Getting the door open is usually not difficult. Once open the car can still be susceptible to a relay attack for starting. No relay attack = win win
And the i4 is wired for lidar but the V6 is not.I find it odd that many cars now have key fobs that unlock the doors as you approach the vehicle, but a $100k Lotus does not! Can this be upgraded somehow?
