Throwing codes

It took a while, but we got there. A Lotus engineer from the factory eventually located a faulty connector somewhere on the loom. This was enough to fool the ECU into calculating an O2 sensor issue, which then threw up the engine light. I’m happy that Lotus found the issue, so they can knowledge share with dealers who may be trying to diagnose a similar problem with a customer’s car.
I the lambda sensor faults on both banks at the moment having already has a sensor change in the Summer. It is now into the third week being at the dealer for fault finding and still no joy. So far I have been told Lotus have had data sent to them from a long period of driving to try and ascertain what is happening and on Friday I was told they advised the dealer to check the plugs.
