Trunk release cable in cabin

I followed the directions from the manual and pulled both side trim peices in the back, but coud not locate the emergency pull. I'm assuming when it says left panel, they mean the one on the driver side in the left hand drive cars.

It is there, just not in red, but a thin black loop. On drivers side.

Pull straight out
