UK deposit to order checkout to delivery process

Hi can I ask from previous new owners, how long does it takes from check out email, been through ID check, finance and number plate verification etc 3 weeks ago now waiting for delivery details.

I checked out, had a call 1 wk later with dates and picked it up a further 5 days later

Just for info incase helpful, I checked out on 13th Feb. Got a call from dealer on Friday 17th March the car has just arrived. Pickup 28th March to get paperwork completed and PDI. Can't wait !

Still no comms even though 2 weeks ago the CS rep told me i would get checkout within 2 weeks. If the car wasn’t that good I’d be out usually. Can’t stand crap customer service it puts me off absolutely anything usually!

It actually took just over 3 weeks to get my checkout email in the end [not 2] so hang in there....I'm sure it will be any day now!

Just to let you know that I completed my checkout on 9th March and the car is being delivered to my local dealer this week! They just told me it could take up to a week to complete the PDI and ceramic coating, and should be ready to collect as early as the end of next week, which makes it 3 weeks from checkout rather than 4 all being well !

Yes manual. I paid my deposit on 11 July 2021.

Just went through checkout and it was actually pretty painless. Super excited again now though! I haven’t heard anything about PPF which I wanted as an option form factory so hoping this is arranged after!

Congrats! My checkout was a fortnight ago and I am due to collect my car next week after it arrived at the dealer this morning. You're on the home straight now and I'm also pleased to say that the updates from Lotus since the checkout have improved enormously, there have been no issues at all

Has anyone else received their checkout email with items missing off their chosen spec? I’m missing the tracker and homelink. Not sure whether to do the check out and fit my own tracker, not too bothered about the homelink. I’m worried if I raise it with lotus it will delay delivery, fortunately the price doesn’t include them.

Sounds like something cocked up I would ring them up if your car in build might be too late and go for aftermarket as you say but I don’t think when you checkout cars are in production yet so you might have time to add them on.

I’ve just gone ahead now, can’t be bothered with the hassle. I’ll sort the tracker after

Im wondering the same, I checked out 4 weeks ago (security check, number plate details and finance all sorted) and still not had any confirmation on delivery dates. Reading what's posted here its seams that dealer / factory collection is only a few weeks from checkout. I would be interested to know generally what time periods others have had.
