4.000 kms done. No news, good news.

Emira made it to the beach!

Arrived in sunny South of Spain.

Straight to the Chiringuito for sardines. Don't have a picture of that. I ate them all.

Looks like you're having a blast with the car. Don't recall if I've seen you post whether or not you have tried launch control yet.

Definitely enjoying it a lot. And people's reaction are great. I look like a rock star, lol!

This is my story about the launch control, pathetic! :

Thank you for sharing your experience with the first auto Emira! There is a rumor that the auto version is detuned (and I also ordered an auto one). What's your opinion on that after driving it for 4000 kms?

I would like to point out that you sir are using this car exactly as I expected folks to use it.
I also think you are the perfect customer.
0-60 times, track use, comparing to zi germans...complete manure
I hold my hand up. I wanted a raw Evora like Toms new one in a new spiffing Jacket. I'm disappointed about that but lets see when I have driven mine for a bit.
Should know this week when I'll get 'hands on'

I love imparting my opinion so I'll do so... Absolutely love the front and back pins. I like the side, but think it loses the impression of the slim waist... Especially with the black pack. Side pin stripes look better on body colour roof.
But the bits I love the most are your road trips 👏👏👏👏👏

I do feel it fast enough. Not a rocket on 0-100 for sure, but the handling is excellent, and if you drive it in manual mode, I could not tell a difference with the Manual, and I drove the Manual for a few hundred kms.
To me is just the engagement factor that is different, not worse.
If you compare it with an Evora 410, both the Manual and the Auto feel heavier, but also more planted on the turns.

And the sound has definitely improved since new.

I am touched.
Thanks a lot for your compliments.
I have given up comparing it with my Evora 410 Sport in acceleration and sound. It is better in every other angle, and much better for long trips, and I am in Sport setup and Goodyears.
If you don't compare strictly and enjoy the car as is, you will not be disappointed in the log run, believe me I enjoy more by the day the more I get used to it.
I have to say also that I have been very lucky so far not to have any issues. I am actually surprised after reading other experiences here.
I wish you many miles and smiles!

Thanks a lot. I just go with the flow, and after many cars much more expensive, this is the one I enjoy most, it has brought me back the joy of riding.
About the side stripe, you might be right, but if you see it on the flesh it looks really good. But then I am not an expert in design !!! 😜

Interesting comments about the sound improving. I've heard this difference when comparing a brand new Emira to a demo with a few thousand kms on it. It's as if Lotus put cotton wool into the exhaust pipes to meet homologation and emissions testing and then those "mods" magically disappear over time. ;)

My SVR was jealous, and decided to join Emira´s holidays.
A friend of mine drove it down south.
Another shot of the tunnel, this time from inside the SVR. Excuse the copilot, she doesn't handle very well acceleration 😂

I've done the same on my DV but added a bit more on the front, brings in the side stripes, I think yours would suit it too.
Well done!

Definitely would suit Nimbus also.

UPDATE:

5.000 kms. NO ISSUES at all.

Have done F all this week. Had to pay some attention to the lady. She is a little jealous of Emira. Only a few runs over coastal road with some grocery excuse. The rest eating and relaxing with a little bit of champagne.

Here are some shots though:
