USA/Canada Delivery Thread

Just curious, what is everyone expecting to hear from an Emira perspective? I'm guessing a lot more discussion about the Eletre than the Emira, except maybe base pricing and configurator dates.

I talked to Paul at Gentry Lane on Monday and he had no news to share but said call back next week after John the owner returns from the dealer meeting. Hope they can share some positive news on NA deliveries. I am in Lotus withdrawal after selling my Esprit V8 last fall !

Ah, the Esprit. Summer 1990 I saw my first one. Red, tan interior (weren’t they all) South Florida. I did an interior repair on the driver footwell. I never saw another “in the wild” since.

I'm expecting to hear the price increase justifications even with the exchange rate differential.

Im staying optimistic that there will not be a price increase. It will all be good news.

Also going to communicate they are ready to start, production and we will get our cars this summer.

Do you mean 5K order on top of 5K deposit on Oct 7, 2022 for FE? I assume deposit would have been prior to July 2021?

I am so hoping you are correct sir!

US Dealer Meeting is today, 7 March. Scheduled to start at 13:00 local-Pacific/Los Angeles (19:00GMT) and end at 16:30.
I heard that because they only scheduled 3 hours (30min tea break you know), they don't have time to discuss updates, pricing, news on the Emira. Only time for Electre, Etat, Elbow, and Eray (oh wait that is already taken). Will be scheduling another meeting in May just to keep everyone hanging on just a little bit longer when they announce the first cars will be arriving for Christmas.

I think they are excited to announce that Lotus will rename the U.S. bound "Emira" to "Eon" to better reflect the essence of the vehicle as well as answer the nagging question of "how long do we have to wait".
