Sea air does you the world of good, your car? I’m not so sureMuch appreciated @GatorMotorsport . I can't say I'm thrilled with the idea of cars sitting at the port for months before delivery.

That was a form letter we all got. Depends really on your spot in line.I just received a notice from Lotus Cars USA, saying that "configuring and completing my order will be in the Fall". I had sent my reservation deposit in December of 2022 and had expected to configure in Q4 of 2024.
I wonder if this means my Base V6 would be an FE version at the much higher price.
That’s str8 pimp
A base 911 T (which pretty much comes with all the options I would want anyway) is less $$ than the Emira 2.0 F/E up here in the great white north. In all honestly, some of the last edition Evora were running around 110k those didn’t sell great.
They also didn’t look like the emira , the emira will still have demand just not as much at the previous price point.
With regards to base edition cars those will likely also be at or near the new price point. Inflation has hit everything.
Original FE price point was made public almost two years ago.
If a person can afford 105k they can afford 120k 911T starts to look really interesting.

992 911 T = 132K CAD
Emira 2.0 F/E = 145K CAD
Which would you choose? (sorry to keep banging on about this, but it's a tough pill to swallow at the moment)
Ha! Excellent advice. I’m keeping the emira on the back burner and am enjoying a manual R8 1st Gen for the time being. Not sure I can let this go so I’ll wait and see what happens with the emira.I mean this in genuine honesty and not mocking anyone, just get a 911.
We’re all at a point in life where we can afford such things which means likely most of us have 30 years of life on average left if we’re lucky. Spending 3 years of your life waiting for a car is 10% of your life left.
Enjoy whatever you can get now.
Lol, great point on the math. I missed that. I am ashamed as an Asian.Huh, thought there were 700 NA FE 1.0's but based on the email of adding 600 NA FE 2.0's totaling 1500 FE's means there were originally 900 NA FE 1.0's. 700 FE 1.0's US and 200 FE 1.0's Canada?
Wait a minute, you've been on this forum for a long time, surely you had a deposit in? I thought you had an FE on order from early on. And I thought it was 120k Canadian for the whole batch of original FE orders?A base 911 T (which pretty much comes with all the options I would want anyway) is less $$ than the Emira 2.0 F/E up here in the great white north.

September 2021 deposit... dealers in Canada received only 10-15 F/E allocations. (70 total for 5 dealerships, tiny amount but yes they are 120K CAD for 1.0 F/E) I did not make the cut. So yes I have been deposited for a long time and depending how many / if any 2.0 F/E's come to Canada, I surmise I would be fairly close to the top of the list of a 2.0. However, Canadian pricing has not be announced, there is no change to our configurator. I am beginning to believe that we won't be receiving any additional 2.0 F/E's. Our pricing vs the competition just seems way off comparative to everywhere else in the world.Wait a minute, you've been on this forum for a long time, surely you had a deposit in? It seems Lotus is a new house in ‘Game of Thrones’ that has declared war against their customers. Why I don’t know, but they have reared their ugly heads and seem determined to do everything they can to create turmoil in the realm. The battles seem to be never ending.“FE V6 production will begin in May & vehicles will start to arrive stateside at the end of July; however, they will not be released to dealers until all certifications are completed. This has been quoted between weeks 42-50 of this year (mid-October thru December). After that point, cars will be released from port proportionate”
what a terrible idea! The battery will be went out! corrosion! Tires! Paint! Just do not build at all before getting the certifications.
No worries, from one Asian to another, I got your back.Lol, great point on the math. I missed that. I am ashamed as an Asian.
Bleek... I've just turned 37, but i guess you are correct. As getting into this style of car at 67 will be hard work!!!I mean this in genuine honesty and not mocking anyone, just get a 911.

I cannot see the origin of this in the long thread. Why are they leaving cars to sit in a port??Lol way to make this so confusing. I don't want my car sitting in port for months getting shit on by birds.
Apparently they want to build the US cars on the original schedule in April, May, and June, then bring them to the US and park them in port until regulatory release in October / November.I cannot see the origin of this in the long thread. Why are they leaving cars to sit in a port??
I sent a response to that email. I asked her why there was no reference #??That was a form letter we all got. Depends really on your spot in line.
