I have the same brake issue with my left front only it looks worse than yours at about 40% unswept. Have not looked at the reverse side of the rotors to see if there’s any evidence there, might do that this weekend. My car sat out from the 12/29/23 shipment in Baltimore until I picked it up on 4/13/24. Today I tried a few hard braking exercises but did not seem to change anything. Braking seems excellent with straight line stops from 60mph. FE2 with only 317 miles on the car so maybe it’s going to free up with more use, if not, then its warranty time.Car arrived via truck this morning. Was only able to put 50 miles on her before I had to go back to work, but man, it was worth the almost 3 year wait. I'm ecstatic.
Unfortunately after looking back through the pics I took it looks like the front driver's brake has the uneven wear problem. It only had 15 miles on when I took them so I'm hoping when I go and look later it may have corrected itself... but that's wishful thinking...

Bought a 49 Cadillac on BAT last year, can confirm the Buyer pays it.Doesn't the seller pay the bat broker fee?
No. Seller pays 99 for basic listing, 500 for advanced, and then a shit ton for white glove service.Doesn't the seller pay the bat broker fee?

From what I understand, this is a common issue for the cars that were sitting. Brake pads freezing/welding to the rotor and then partially breaking off when unstuck. In fact, my friends DV that we are picking up on Monday had this issue at the dealer and was spotted during Dealer PDI before delivery. They were able to get the parts overnighted by Lotus and make the repair. All repaired and ready for pickup.I have the same brake issue with my left front only it looks worse than yours at about 40% unswept. What am I looking for here? Is it the discolored brownish "rust" on the rotor to indicate something isn't right?I have the same brake issue with my left front only it looks worse than yours at about 40% unswept. Spoke with Lotus NJ yesterday. My car was on the 4/6 ship but hasn't arrived at the dealer yet. I'm told at least three cars that arrived have needed new power steering pumps already, one needed new brake pads, and he said a few have had AC issues. I'm glad they are doing thorough PDIs before delivering the cars but I really hope my car makes it to the dealer soon.Spoke to Boardwalk, they have 16 Emiras currently and 5 more coming in today. More than half of them have A/C issue not blowing cold. They now have 20 resistors ordered from Lotus to replace them.
They would initially blow cold but after test driving them, they found most of them starts blowing only hot air
Oh! And they haven't received their first deposited car. Basically the trucks are just grabbing whatever they see at port lol
Hmm, I wonder what resistors they are replacing? Cooling and then stopping sounds like a compressor or A/C system charge issue. There are resistors in the fan speed system, but that is not directly related to the actual A/C cooling apparatus.Spoke to Boardwalk, they have 16 Emiras currently and 5 more coming in today. Not sure either and don't think it's a permanent fix. I am told that resistor is placed just under the dashboard.Hmm, I wonder what resistors they are replacing? That car's twin is available now at Bellevue, if anyone is interested.Well, looks like I'll be joining the club earlier than I expected. Boardwalk just offered me an orphaned 1st Ed in the exact spec that I was going to use for my final V6 run order. They'll let me get out of my already spec'ed I4 (due March 25) and change my deposit for the Final V6 run to an I4 in 2028 so I said YES.
Do you know if Eurocar has received your car yet for PDI?Good news. I just got the call that my car is on a truck headed to California. 4/6 ship. Hoping it will be ready for pickup maybe May 6th. He said 8 cars on their way to Eurocar in Orange County. Oct 2021 order. FE2.0. In their first shipment. Pinch me...
