Mine was on the 4/6 boat and still no word.Man I am so confused at this point.
My car arrived on the 3/29 boat and I still haven’t gotten a call from Boardwalk about the car being on a truck.

Honestly unbelievable that your car has been allowed to sit there that long while other cars arriving much later get loaded ahead of it. Brutal. Feel for you man. I'd be all over my dealer, but that's just me.Man I am so confused at this point.

411 has been waiting on a car that was there in December. JustHonestly unbelievable that your car has been allowed to sit there that long while other cars arriving much later get loaded ahead of it. Brutal. Feel for you man. I'd be all over my dealer, but that's just me.
Have you checked out the orphaned ones they have sitting on the lot now? Might be worth it to grab one of those if they fit or are close to your spec.Man I am so confused at this point.

You deserve so much better. I'd camp at their front door like it was the latest iPhone reveal. Don't they know who you are and your influence in Lotus circles?Man I am so confused at this point.

Don’t think I want to pay $10K more for a car that isn’t the spec I’ve been waiting for this whole time.Have you checked out the orphaned ones they have sitting on the lot now? Might be worth it to grab one of those if they fit or are close to your spec.
I think we all deserve so much better, as for me i’m just a guy on a forum that was really excited for a new car at some point. Wouldn’t be using influence as some sort of leverage. You deserve so much better. I'd camp at their front door like it was the latest iPhone reveal. Reckon mine’s on the same truck! 4/20 arrival at port.Got the call too! Our cars are going to be truck-mates lol. This is going to be a grueling but exciting 1-3 weeks.
Are they still trying to recover from your test drives?I think we all deserve so much better, as for me i’m just a guy on a forum that was really excited for a new car at some point. Wouldn’t be using influence as some sort of leverage.
I have to say, as a DD and no plans on tracking it, I had still fully planned on at least the third cat delete and maybe even the valve controller prior to taking delivery... but 500 miles in, I just don't see the need! The stock sound is SO much better than depicted in most videos online and def enough for me in "sport". The downshifting pops and burbles are just right... and it's plenty loud when you want it to be while retaining an exotic, refined sound. In a perfect world, would I like to be able to leave the valves open on startup without having to scroll to "sport mode" after its on, yeah... but not enough to add a/m electronics to what I worry is already a temperamental Lotus systemDamn. I mean I’m down for a cat back upgrade. 3rd delete. but if it causes problems I can live with the stock sound.
I actually feel the same way! I love the sound of the car in Sport mode now that the muffler is starting to open up a bit. It definitely changes sound as it breaks in. I guess the muffler fill is packing out to the walls? Whatever it is, it is now sounding really, really good. I'm not sure it needs anything.I have to say, as a DD and no plans on tracking it, I had still fully planned on at least the third cat delete and maybe even the valve controller prior to taking delivery... but 500 miles in, I just don't see the need! All I can say is that it was worth the three year wait, and am very pleasantly surprised thus far. All expectations exceeded... (Special thanks to the folks at Lotus of NJ!)

FWIW this is my first Lotus and I have to say, I was torn between Touring and Sport and I'm glad I went w Touring. Touring beats me up enuf as it is on our rough roads Maybe it's cause Im coming from a Jag Ftype. But Ive had a Viper and Ferrari 348 (albeit 20+ yrs ago) Maybe my age is catching up w me! Car was a dream this weekend on mountain roads but zipping around town is a labor of love. Having never driven Touring I was afraid it I might come up short even tho I will never track this car (I shouldn't have undererstimated Lotus)I have to say, as a DD and no plans on tracking it, I had still fully planned on at least the third cat delete and maybe even the valve controller prior to taking delivery... but 500 miles in, I just don't see the need! As crazy as this sounds, your car got here early, and may have been one of the first off-loaded from the ship, thus it was one of the first to go into the big storage facility. As a result, literally everything else got put in front of your car, so it's going to be one of the last cars that gets taken out and shipped to your dealer. I know that's stupid, but it kinda makes sense that something that simple would be why you haven't gotten your car yet.I think we all deserve so much better, as for me i’m just a guy on a forum that was really excited for a new car at some point. How do we track our cars via VIN? Just Google them?
Mine was on the same boat, and I'm IN the same boat.... all puns fully intended.Mine was on the 4/6 boat and still no word.
Track them to see when they hit the water from the UK. The manifest is only listed at arrival?Track them in what way? If you're referring to the shipping manifests you can do that on importinfo.com when the ship arrives and unloads.
The Atlantic Star arrived in Halifax today, which I think contains many of our cars. The next stop should be Baltimore, but the vessel tracker hasn't updated it's next destination yet https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/details/9670573
