Soon, my friend. We will have our day.
Emira version:
Curious as to what they ordered as it looks like a 2-year process. But agree, nice to be kept in the loop.
Porsche does make an excellent automobile; I wouldn't be caught dead in one.
Has there been any meaningful update from Lotus on people with original FE V6 orders? Still saying end of this year for first NA deliveries or has that not even been confirmed yet?
Nothing is confirmed as Lotus refuses to communicate. And when they have communicated, dates given have been misleading (to put it nicely). They typically announce delays just weeks before previously stated delivery times.
The EPA site still has the 2020 Evora GT as the last Lotus to pass certification. The site can be a little behind with updates but Iād like to see an Emira on there by now.Weeks? How about at the beginning of this year when our vehicles were supposed to go into production and they waited almost a week to tell us of delays...AFTER the deadline lol.

They still haven't actually told us about the current production delays either. Last information given to dealers was that production would begin in May instead of April.
I was told August now after calling the head of US sales directly, which triggered him to call my dealer with updates, who then called me. This entire this has my head spinning. I never once expected my first new exotic sports car purchase to be this painful.
And you chose Lotus to pop your exotic . . Just be glad it wasnāt a Ferrari; youād have to learn how to bribe the sales rep just to have him take an order for you. Then heād tell you that you canāt order that one until youāve owned at least one of these to make sure itās a good fit for your lifestyle. They still haven't actually told us about the current production delays either. August is for FE 2.0 buildsā¦I heard that first allocation FEs are on schedule. They still haven't actually told us about the current production delays either. Last information given to dealers was that production would begin in May instead of April.

If this is the case, Lotus better be sharing FE 2.0 allocations and locking in builds.August is for FE 2.0 buildsā¦I heard that first allocation FEs are on schedule.

Got a source for that?Got a source for that? I'm 99% confident US production hasn't started at all.
