USB connectors

A question to the more experienced.
Are the USB connectors, rear view mirror, below the front console, and in the rear glove box connected to one another?
Can data be transmitted from one to another ?
I was thinking about front and rear dashcam interconnectivity via the car's built in USB circuitry?

Simple answer is no.

Also, the mirror USB and lower front console are power supply only.
The USB's in the centre storage area are data as well and can connect to the car's own media player.
Android Auto is talking about an upgrade that would allow access to these USB's but I've not got it yet.

The mirror USB is a great idea for a front dashcam and it would have been nice to have had something more convenient for a rear dashcam.
I have a front dashcam and I think what I will do when I go for a rear one is just have it completely separate and have it powered by the rear external power take off at the back of the centre console.
I don't think I can be bothered to try and route a connecting cable from front to back.

when you say "Back of centre console" do you mean the ones under the arm rest, or is there another one somewhere I havnt found yet

On the outside at the back of the centre console is one of those "cigar lighter" power sockets.
I would put a USB converter that usually comes with a dashcam in there.
