I’m pretty sure the Fold will fit in the S23/24 Ultra tray. Is your case magnetic?

If it's not magnetic the magsafe charger won't hold it in place. Silent Cilantro may be able to create bumpers on the side to hold it laterally, but rapid acceleration might launch it out of the tray.

It is not.

The charger I use comes with a magnetic ring you’d have to stick to the outside of the case. Even if I make bumpers on the tray the phone can still move forwards or backwards which will cause misalignment and affect charging.

Correct. It will slide in the Alcantara tray without the magnetic ring.

I rock the iphone Seniors Edition, but I'd rather future proof it with the stronger charger if there is no downside.

I have a question.

The unused power supply you tap into, is you say for optional accessories such as toll collection devices in other countries.
I'm UK based, and opted for the factory fitted anti-theft tracker system (in this case, they use a Scorpion tracker). This is an option you tick at order point, so do you think it's likely that this option uses that power fly lead that your wireless charger usually taps into?

If so, this may be a fly in the ointment for me

I have some updates regarding 25W support. Long story short, it's not going to happen for about 6 months.

CoolGear has confirmed that their current firmware does not support the 15V PD profile the new MagSafe charger requires when the input voltage of the power supply is over 9V. Even at 9V enumeration did not succeed 100% of the time which required a power cycle of the unit.

They are working on a new product that will launch end of Q1, beginning of Q2 next year and this issue will be taken into consideration for that product, but they are not really interested in building a new firmware for the power supply we utilize. I purchased another from a different manufacturer but it too did not work and whereas CoolGear spent weeks working with me on this, this other company was not interested.

So, for the people tagged above that wanted to wait, will you guys be ok with MagSafe 1 or would you like to be taken off the list?

I will be going on vacation Oct31-Nov17, production will resume once I return regardless of how many are on the list, you guys have been waiting for a while!

random chime in to say that this is my favorite mod. no exaggeration. it feels like it should be standard and feels OEM. never have to worry about iPhone battery or cables. easy and nice.

oh and the magnetic action is way better than those OEM charging trays where your phone just flops around. mmm, don't really like those.
