I’m pretty sure the Fold will fit in the S23/24 Ultra tray. Is your case magnetic?

If it's not magnetic the magsafe charger won't hold it in place. Silent Cilantro may be able to create bumpers on the side to hold it laterally, but rapid acceleration might launch it out of the tray.

Currently I don't have any issues with it moving around in the tray, but more than likely it's because of the current material.

It is not.

The charger I use comes with a magnetic ring you’d have to stick to the outside of the case. Even if I make bumpers on the tray the phone can still move forwards or backwards which will cause misalignment and affect charging.

Correct. It will slide in the Alcantara tray without the magnetic ring.

I rock the iphone Seniors Edition, but I'd rather future proof it with the stronger charger if there is no downside.

Yeah, no downside other than waiting a bit longer
