What did you do to your Emira today?

Im gonna pick up on the idea of painting the seat centre stripes in yellow! Soon will show pictures
I would love to see this and know what you use to do that. I like the black, but would really be interested in what that looks like.

@GlobalPilot777 try the steering wheel as well.

The center and bottom are both decals.

I also did the seats with decals.

I bought extra if you are interested happy to pass along the cost.

Some pics of installing the 3rd Cat Delete and Valve Controller on a friend's car.. We wrapped the VC with gold foil to combat the exhaust heat.. Took WAY longer than expected because the 3rd Cat delete pipe wasn't the proper size.. I had to use an expander to expand the GRP pipe to make the pipe bigger to make a snug fit. That took A LOT longer, trying to expand it and then it gets smaller when you take it out of the pipe so that was a back and forth.. added 2 hours or more to the install (we had to goto Autozone to "rent" the expander) so that was 45 mins round trip and then man expanding it took a LOT of effort. You will Def need a 'cheater' bar.

Seems like the circumference for some was perfect and then we had a BIG difference in size..

Overall worth the upgrades for him.. I will post my thoughts in a separate thread.

I was planning to do the 3rd cat delete and valve controller myself but this got me worried.. What does a "cheater" bar do btw?

A cheater bar is usually an extra-long wrench or a piece of pipe that slides over your wrench handle to give you extra leverage.

Here's an example of an extended-length wrench that I use.

If you're going to do any of your own wrenching, it's worth it to go to Harborfreight and get a breaker bar. I have two; a 1/2" and a 3/8". They're easier to use, and don't risk ruining a ratchet. I even bought a set of impact sockets so I don't have to worry about ruining one of my regular ones. All of that including sockets was less than $100. Well worth having when you need one.

Yes, but can it play reindeer games?
Clearly not. It has a red nose.

We all know the red-nosed genetic outcast is not to be played with in case the syndrome is contagious.

As others have said.. It's an extra long bar that goes over your wrenches to give you more leverage.. I had a 4ft one and I really had to use a TON of effort to get the pipe extender to expand the opening of the GRP so it fit snug..

My friend did buy me lunch and I got to work on the car and learn a bunch as well.. So it was worth it.

Just curious, did you use a torch to heat up the end of the pipe you were trying to expand?

I pulled out of the garage without remembering the batter tender was plugged in. Only the CTEK quick connector was damaged as the wires were pulled from the terminal, but I'm not sure I can repair it. 🤦‍♂️

Makes me wish I had gone with this: https://hethelsport.com/tools/charger-connection-kit/

Just needs someone to make a carbonfiber diffuser panel replacement with a pocket to flush mount the cover for one of these.

I didn't.. The end of the pipe is pretty thick and also didn't want to try this.. Wasn't mine and I thought based on other readings that the pipe would expand easier..

Guess I'm one of those weirdos adding weight to a car where weight is one of the first discussion topics.

How much difference did this make in the sound heard inside while driving?
Yea would love to get your thoughts on this. I don't mind adding weight if it makes sense. I thought about doing the doors for road noise as well.
