If anyone does contact them, be constructive rather than just vent. We want them to understand the frustrations, but also want them to be on our side.
Agree and to be fair the extra info about pricing (i.e. staying at £59,995, V6 £64,995) along with when to expect specs and timelines for base does give a bit more insight to those considering value of the FE

But dont mention we are giving the lower power version :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

If I was getting the i4 I wouldn't be worried about the power at all. 385bhp in a lightish car with Dual Clutch will be mighty anyway. Add the infinite tuning options you will have available and its going to ve quite the package!

with out question....... it was more on the marketing blurb :):)

I know. I've got my positivity pants on. Tbf they only say it's worlds most powerful 4cyl. Which is technically true no matter the market. Things can still change as well so maybe V6 and i4 owners may be pleasantly suprised. Who knows
Oh yes sorry very true..... 0-60 when you had few bikes, dont wow me..... its how the car feels on the road

Remember when the Honda S2000 came out and was amazing at 250hp for the engine? Times have changed
It's only people's perceptions that have changed. 300bhp for the road is more than enough. People will always want more tho. Until manufacturers cap power figures customers will always expect the new A Class AMG45 etc to have more than the outgoing model.
Anything over 450 feels pretty pointless to me, but understand everyone is different

On the uk roads, its hard to find a length of road to put any paoer down. 400 bhp is plenty.... and plenty to go wrong in the wrong hands.... I gave up bikes.... not jusr because of the bad driving, but the raods are as likely to have you off. My best mate stopped when he saw a guy kill because some one spilt deisel,

Lets not get carried away. You cannot in any way link someone writing copy for a web update with the production floor
Disagree. Corporate culture that allows one to be tolerated to the degree and duration that has gone on is very worrisome for the other.

“Culture eats mission for lunch”

Yup I cant even use the power in my GR Yaris 90% of time :(

There is an argument for that, for sure. But the PR team seem very silo'd from the rest of the business in terms of strategy (or it comes accross that way). So I'm not too worried about anything else. Time will tell of course. But three incorrect words on a website having cause and effect on the reliability of your new car is a tenuous one.

Have a 3.0si BMW z4 262BHP (3rd car), feels plenty quick, and a great sensation of speed and that your are wringing out most of the performance of the engine without going warp speed, M2 comp never really gave that same sensation as far to refined, I think the Emira will be epic in either guise, but V6 manual for me!

Closeup of just posted picture from their official Instagram . Does that little detail look right to you? seems off

edit: just caught my eye - maybe it's just the picture angle? I assume these can be removed / that there isn't a hole behind them to center.

Based on seeing the hole that the emblem goes over, I bet that's how it's supposed to look... assuming that is the issue you are pointing out anyway haha

Yes this was discussed ages ago and it is correct. Just looks strange in photos 📸

Has somebody any idea, why the difference between V6 and i4 FE is way less in the UK than in Germany and the US? And how on earth can the V6 base be 15.000€ cheaper than the FE in Germany when they told us that the FE has a 3.000€ advantage over a same spec base edition? Do I really get 18.000€ worth of extras. I don‘t think so.

£15k of extras is certainly possible. The FE has EVERYTHING remember
Cant comment on the differences between V6 and i4 by region :(

If hp is about how fast you hit the wall and torque about how far you move the wall what will the on road mid range performance difference be between the V6 and I4?

The 10 Nm gain the l4 has seems small to make a difference as is the 0 to 60 time. Is it known which car has the more responsive mid range performance.......are there any hp/torque maps/graphs published?
