Will today reveal IE F4 pricing?

If hp is about how fast you hit the wall and torque about how far you move the wall what will the on road mid range performance difference be between the V6 and I4?

The 10 Nm gain the l4 has seems small to make a difference as is the 0 to 60 time. Is it known which car has the more responsive mid range performance.......are there any hp/torque maps/graphs published?

that 0-60 is likely due to 8 speeds and shift quickness more so than torque. just IMO

Kick down on your Duel clutch is instant as well. That's the biggest difference.
I took my manual 335is for servicing a few back and had a 328i auto as a courtesy car. Real world not much in it 🤪 On track would be different I'm sure
Be good to see some proven data though on differences

does anyone know if lotus has a history of locking their ecu's? I know the aftermarket for the v6 isnt all that impressive, and I always though that due to the mechanical limitations. And knowing that the I4 has a lot more potential it would be a big downside if they decide to lock the ecu and make it hard for tuners to work on it.

Has somebody any idea, why the difference between V6 and i4 FE is way less in the UK than in Germany and the US? And how on earth can the V6 base be 15.000€ cheaper than the FE in Germany when they told us that the FE has a 3.000€ advantage over a same spec base edition? Do I really get 18.000€ worth of extras. I don‘t think so.
Price in Spain, is around 10.000 Euros less for FE i4 compared to FE V6 MANUAL.
13.000 Euros less if you compare it to the VE Auto, which would be the right comparison.

Roughly 5.000 Euros is the difference of less tax on CO2. 9.75% compared to 14.75% for the V6

I've noticed that the cost of my spec (unchanged on the configurator) has increased by £81 overnight. Where did that come from??

N. B. Worked out the tracker has jumped in cost by £50, not sure where the other £31 crept in...

I would like leather interior, coloured callipers, forged alloys , black pack and not too bothered about anything else. The i4FE is £73K , will I be much better off by waiting for the base model?

Agree and to be fair the extra info about pricing (i.e. staying at £59,995, V6 £64,995) along with when to expect specs and timelines for base does give a bit more insight to those considering value of the FE
I'm sure the value of the FE can be explained by those not making the cut.

I didnt' make it, and if I had, i'd 100% order, but I also want alllll the options it seems... I could see if an early depositor that didn't want the extra stuff could now see that the base pricing would apply if they waited, it would possibly get some to defer and wait for the lower priced options.

This is my current thought. I wouldn't add too many options to the base car so £12,000 extra just wouldn't be worth it for me and my use(wknd summer car no track). Will probably go for the base and just wait a little longer. I'm an early depositor and slipping quickly down the waiting list😃

I view it as paying for early access and getting the top (ish) spec at the same time. I don't really want all the toys but it will be a daily driver, or at least a regular driver, not a tract toy so a few comforts will pay off I think.

As a daily driver, I'd agree👍

I like the fact that I'm getting a 'free' KEF stereo that I'd never option myself, but will no doubt love
I agree on this one - I mainly do road trips, but I do like my music, so actually, I think the KEF will be one we will appreciate. The WSJ review mentioned that it sounded terrific, so I am hopeful

Think most I've spent on a car stereo is about 800. Makes me laugh that people will option a 3k stereo for their car but only have a Sonos or two at home 😵
I'd definitely do it the other way around if I had the cash to splash!

Saw a video yesterday that the version of the M139 since the facelift, at least in the A45(s), is encrypted and therefore cannot be easily remapped, but a solution via additional peripherals (e.g. Racechip) should circumvent the problem with the encryption.

I am a big Hifi fan and am on a Hifi forum where we are gathering a small Emira group as well
