Will be interesting for sure. Hope they have been allowed to develop it properlyGenerally that car Hifi is terrible LOL. However KEF is an excellent brand and well thought of and a lot of interest in how well they will implement it

This opens up new possibilities
If you didn't insist on driving on the wrong side of the road, I'd offer to send you one, but...The configurator says Winter 2022/23 if I change my location to the UK... Winter 2023/24 if I am in the USA.
I've driven a 1957 Lotus Seven RHD on mountain roads here in Colorado. Driving on the right makes it a bit difficult to see to pass slower vehicles... including motorcycles. If you didn't insist on driving on the wrong side of the road, I'd offer to send you one, but...

I'm leaning towards this too. I'm also an early (pre-reveal) depositor, started with a V6 FE, changed to an i4 FE, now seriously thinking about the Base i4. Save myself some cash on options that I'm really not interested in but more importantly is colour. I'm not too taken with any of the FE colours, a nice flat red would be perfect for me and I don't mind wating until Spring 2023 to get it.This is my current thought. I wouldn't add too many options to the base car so £12,000 extra just wouldn't be worth it for me and my use(wknd summer car no track). Will probably go for the base and just wait a little longer. I'm an early depositor and slipping quickly down the waiting list
You're not wrong, and that feels like a great plan... but the fly in my ointment seems to be that things I would option are cunningly spread across all the "packs", so I think I'd end up wanting to choose all the packs anyway. sigh.I'm leaning towards this too. i have KEF at home and would love to have it in my car as wellThink most I've spent on a car stereo is about 800. Makes me laugh that people will option a 3k stereo for their car but only have a Sonos or two at home
I'd definitely do it the other way around if I had the cash to splash!
My default option is always red, I currently have an Ardent Red Exige and a Brilliant Red R8. I've Gotta go for a different colour this time, especially as I will probably keep the Exige if I opt for the base carI'm leaning towards this too. EDIT: When I say flat red I really mean a bright (but non-metallic) red. Ardent Red would do me very nicely thank you
I'd take it!!If you didn't insist on driving on the wrong side of the road, I'd offer to send you one, but...
this is my problem also. Seems like it's more of a rebranding partnership with Harmon for the amp/DSP, paired with KEF speaker tech.i have KEF at home and would love to have it in my car as well
You should yesI'm probably going to go with the I4 base as mentioned above, but to keep all options open. Could I submit my configuration for the I4 FE and pay the extra deposit and wait to see what happens when they announce the I4 Base prices and options list? Will I be able to change my order and keep my place at the front of the que for the I4 Base?
Has anyone done this with the V6FE and now changing to I4FE?
