USA/Canada Delivery Thread

Hi all! SoCal here and just picked up my i4 (DV and tan). Been lurking here reading on all Emira related things since I made my initial deposit in fall 2021, and told myself I will officially join the moment I get the car, so here I am after 3+ long arduous years! The car is everything I’ve dreamed about and more. So gorgeous and pictures don’t do justice. Already got my first thumb up from a random driver 30 mins into the drive from pickup to home :) (am sure many more to come). Thanks all for your great info and contents, and hi again!
Wow, congrats! You might have the longest wait time from deposit to delivery that I know of. I suffered much less in comparison, with deposit in Jan. 2023 and delivery in Nov. 2024.

Alright people, finally, first shipment of 2025 cars have arrived in the US on 3/17/2025. 150 cars total in this batch, all look like base edition V6 cars. As usual, the VINs are in the sheet linked by the image:

I can see mine in the list. my dealer (in austin TX) told me it's en route. Counting the days now.... Apparently they messed up my order by adding the forged wheels when I asked for standard... at least it's not a bad option lol.

Congrats! It's great to have more Emiras in the area!

Might not see more units hitting our shores...at least for now.

Please consider the source. This is coming from a dealer (albeit a very reputable one amongst the US Lotus community). I'm old enough, and have purchased enough cars in my life to surmise this is more about moving current inventory cars, than what will actually happen in the future. Additionally, if you understand manufacturing, cost of goods sold accounting and how tariffs work, you'd quickly realize any car already built and on a boat would not be impacted.

Is there a great "unknown" about how parts and cars will be priced based on the actual implementation of tariffs in the near future, absolutely. However, as of now, it's really a wait and see environment. And by the way, if you really want an Emira, there are several hundred available in the states with a very broad selection of specs in all engines and transmissions.

My car is on the list. Been on the waitlist since Nov 2022. Motorcars of Atlanta has confirmed it, just waiting on it to get to the dealer...

I'm starting to believe the same. I'm pretty sure Lotus haven't made any final decisions on stopping cars being sold in the US. Nobody is sure what is going to happen. I've also noticed in just a few months Emira's have gone from short supply in the US selling above retail, to now having stock sitting on lots not selling. I can't help but think the dealers have seen an opportunity come up to get some sales.

I've compiled all of the VINs I could find for the US and Canadian Emira shipments. What's missing is that I could only find 99 of the 150 VINs for the first shipment dated 12/1/2023. So this list is incomplete. This list will be updated as new shipments arrive.

Thank you for putting all of this together!

Out of curiosity, do you know if there was another boat arriving at the end of March? I was given an update by my dealer yesterday and have been told my car has just arrived in port and cleared customs. They gave me a VIN, but I don’t see it and have not been able to find it on your lists and it doesn’t seem to show in any searches.

Thank you!!

The AT cars haven't been at popular as MT, nor the i4 as the V6.
I also believe color and kit are factors. We have redefined orphan units. Otherwise discounts would have done the job.
This is sad for dealers and buyers, especially with orders in process with production paused and costs rising. The Base version was already comparatively more expensive than FE. i4 Base is a shoe waiting to drop.
Those who complained the Emira wasn't exclusive enough got their wish.

Hey all, good news, more Emiras arrived in Baltimore on 3/25/2025, this time including some cars for Canada. I'm not sure how the tariffs would affect the cars going to Canada, but hopefully there won't be an issue. Image links to tracking sheet with VIN numbers:

Got my VIN yesterday and dealer says the car has cleared customs, but I don’t see on this list.

SCCLEJAX1SHB10657

Maybe dealer meant 567, which I do see on the list? Possibly other cars On this boat?

Not on this particular boat, but maybe another boat that recently landed. I recommend waiting a bit and see. We might see more cars show up in the next couple of days that landed at the end of March.

Edit: I do think your car SCCLEJAX1SHB10657 is here in the US. Just wait a couple of days.

Some have reported dealers telling them no more Emiras after 2 April but has there been any "official" word from Lotus Cars in Hethel that they are no longer going to import the Emira for a period of time?

Question is does arriving in port counts or does the goods on the boat have to clear custom?

Does anyone have an accurate count of how many Emiras have been imported into the US to date? Would also specifically like to know how many V6 manuals
