I've been trying to get the chrome orange, burnt orange colors figured out, but they're being ridiculously difficult to replicate to match the pictures. I'll keep working on them though.

These might help - colour samples and examples of cars in most colours:

Elise colours

Exige S3 colours

Evora colours

I desperately want Ardent Red. And those wheels! Are they aftermarket?

I’m 100% in the magma camp at the moment but when I see the discs popping up again, and they’re looking like burgundy, I’m starting to waiver . I can’t wait to see some actual Emiras sprayed up to put my mind at rest🤨

If I was anywhere but the UK.... Can just see it being more burgundy 95% of the time lol. I think the good thing about the Emira over the Evora though is the red will have more angles to play off. It could look stunning

Exactly my feelings too! With some of these renderings on here they look fantastic, then the disc looks so dark... Plus I live in Scotland so see the sun only a handful of times a year so will be missing out on most of the colour popping in direct sunlight. At the dealer they had an Exige in Fire Red and in the usual Scottish weather it was very dark. It looked like an extremely classy colour which will definitely suit the Emira, but not sure it's for me. It is pushing me more and more towards the blue, at least it is a colour I've seen on the car and know I'll like!

I’m leaning towards the blue too, but I really want the red to work

So, which colours are the closest match to the 6 we are being offered?

I'd originally posted the links because people were asking about previous Lotus colours as possibilities when Lotus add to the colour options. But here goes:

Shadow Grey: not previously a Lotus colour but apparently is close to a Porsche colour

Seneca Blue: not previously a Lotus colour but is quite close to Porsche Shark Blue and VW Cornflower Blue

Magma Red: very similar to Fire Red, used recently on the Exige, Elise and Evora

Nimbus Grey: similar to Evora Silver and Signature Silver used on the Evora; looks very close to McLaren Blade Silver

Verdant Green: almost identical to Empire Green/Imperial Green used on the Lotus Carlton and Evora

Hethel Yellow: very close to Saffron Yellow and Solar Yellow

Based on this photo of one of the planform samples, I reworked Magma to give it more red. I hope this is what it's going to look like on the actual car, because this car needs a good, rich red.

This is the reworked color shader, but it's inside a structure with a single point light, and it's sitting on concrete versus the sample photo which is outside on grass, but the essential reds match.

This is what I want, just hope the red is close to this or lighter, going with the BP . I was going black leather but the tan does look good

That looks amazing, @Eagle7 ! I was curious what you think of the red sample that appears in the recent Shmee video shared by @GreenDeal - https://www.emiraforum.com/threads/order-placed-post-your-—final—-spec-here.557/post-9889 (video screen grab below). It seems much more of a bright red than what we had seen before, but may just be the direct sunlight effect. No matter what, Magma Red is it for me (w/ BP, yellow calipers, red-stitched alcantra interior). I just can't wait to see a real car in red!

That's the deal with these photos of samples. The color depends on the light, the angle of the light, the ability of the camera used to accurately reproduce the color, and then the web browser's ability to show the color. Web browsers are not entirely accurate. I can post an image and compare it right away to the original on my desktop, and I can see how the browser colors aren't as rich or bright.

The actual colors on the actual cars are going to differ somewhat from what we're seeing in web browser images, but they shouldn't be too far off.

For colours such as red which we know are very close to Fire Red, then best to just Google “fire red Evora” and get a feel for the variations of colour on the photos displayed. As stated , you’ll never be sure until you see a car in the flesh, but best compromise in the meantime.

But I'm still back at the issue of using images from a web browser as reference images, that I know the web browser has diminished because it doesn't have the extended color space capability my computer does. Under those conditions, there's simply no way I can 100% get an accurate color representation, which is why I say what I've created is at best maybe 95% close. That's close enough though to get a reasonable idea of how these colors are going to look on the cars.

I think your last Magma render is going to be pretty darn close.

From magma red disc indoors, out in the sun and placed on Fire Red Exige , where it was a very close match, then I would say photos such as they represent pretty well the colour you will end up with .

Notice the difference in overcast conditions vs sunlight where it pops

I really hope it looks good. But it does seem to be quite an old fashioned colour for the Emira
