I think this stuff is from this shop

That’s going to be a slippy wheel in summer and your hands will freeze to it in winter. Needs some alcantara.

In the service manual these are called upper door sills. They're £800 for the pair and require 15-20 hours of labor to replace. This is because it means removing all the body panels besides the doors and the roof to access them.

It's been reported above that there are CF OEM ones coming, but no word on when.

Here's mine ready to go. Just be sure you want to go through that hassle.

Wow that looks amazing! How much did it cost to get that done? Where'd you get it done if you don't mind me asking!

Do you have the pictures still of the aenemos kit?
Some Chinese companies pop up with a brochure and images with kits on cars, then a week later everything wiped from the web. I'm assuming thats why the image links are broken now since Aenemos I can't find Aenemos in the fb group or google.

I was curious, saw a diffuser from them pop up on ebay out of Poland

Are there any "forged" carbon fiber pieces available, especially for the interior?

The classic CF weave is looking (to me) really dated. The forged stuff, as seen on Lamborghinis, looks organic and flows better and is in harmony with the Emira's design. The weave was on my Dad's very old M3 and looks it, and seems more at home in 20 year old cars.

I mean no offense to weave CF users. I just need help because I can't find the forged stuff anywhere.

Thanks!

Matt

Not yet but @Aerie is making a little under a dozen interior pieces. I imagine they'll be available in forged.

Real forged carbon is a carbon mush which is compression moulded to make intricate 3d parts. Interior panels with a thin cross section suit woven cloth better and any forged part will be messy to make and inaccurate in a thin section.
It's like a carbon version of chopped strand glass. You can get it in sheet form just for cosmetics but it's not very drapable or nice to work with.

@silent cilantro hi, your car looks awesome 👍 did you happen to lower your car? And add spacer? I'm also looking to lower/add spacer with carbon kits installed but don't know how low I should go. I also live in LA and with horrible road condition we have I'm sacred to even lowering it.
Hi for coil overs and you can alter the height to suit and change it if your circumstances or road surfaces change.

Similar to dyno results for Eventuri, Larini, etc, does Vorsteiner publish any lift/drag or temperature data to justify/accommodate the aesthetic changes?
