After the successful and enjoyable British Rolling Car Day event in San Diego that some of us participated in, I've been looking for and considering other events close by. Two that I'm considering are the San Clemente Cars and Coffee this Saturday morning and I also found there's a British Car event every third Sunday morning of the month (so next one would be this Sunday the 20th) in Golden Cove shopping center in Palos Verdes (put on by the So Cal Triumph Club). Thoughts on either of these (or others you know of in OC/San Diego)?

Seems the San Clemente event is absoutely HUGE which comes with goods and bads I can imagine. @T6061 what was your experience there?
The PV event will very likely be much lower key, and smaller, but some great views. I don't relish getting there from Irvine though (I really hate the Harbor Fwy).

I've taken Winston once and I believe @seriously showed that morning. The Emira was well received. Lots of positive comments from folks. They parked me between a Ferrari 812 and a Porsche GT3. It's a big show but it's pretty well organized and with plenty of variety. Rockwell's does a great breakfast and also offers a full bar and the coldest beer in town. I'm not an early morning guy (8-8:30 is when everyone starts arriving) but if there are a gaggle of Emira's attending I'm happy to make the effort.

I could do the PV one since im super close by.

I actually used to ride my bike to the yellow vase a lot and up the hill and back. so i know the area.

Sunday this week is easter and my mom wants me all day... so Sunday is off the table.

There are 4 Orange County C&C events that I know of this Saturday:
  • The South Orange County C&C at the San Clemente outlets mentioned earlier in this thread. This is a very large weekly gathering. Get there early if you want decent parking.
  • OC Cars & Coffee. They often have a theme marque, but I don't think that is the case this week.
    • 7-10am, 14661 Franklin Ave, Tustin.
  • Flight Legacy C&C. This week's theme is JDM (but all cars welcome).
    • 7:30-10:30am, 1705 Flight Way, Tustin.
  • Exotics & Espresso.
    • 9-11am. 7535 Irvine Center Drive, Irvine.
The last 3 are much smaller than the South OC event (which isn't always a bad thing). I would say 80+ cars vs. several hundred+ at South OC.

When I go I will usually either do South OC, or I will go early to OC C&C or Flight, stay until 9-ish, then go to E&E. I have some other commitments and don't know if I will be going to anything this Saturday.

Edited to add: South OC and Exotics & Espresso are weekly meets. The others are monthly.

@squish I will be at Flight with my Son and Gerry (yellow NSX)

Looks like I'm not picking up my car till tomorrow so I'm out on this weekends festivities.

Well, I was only planning on doing San Clemente, but since it starts later and this one is earlier and just around the corner (well close anyway), I’ll swing by Flight in Tustin around 7:30, then head south (still chipping away at the break-in). You can’t miss me…
